Power is 36 points clear of Ryan Hunter-Reay in the standings with Helio Castroneves 41 points back. Last year, Power won the race in Baltimore as he started on the pole and led 70 of the 75 laps and last week he finished second to teammate Ryan Briscoe at Sonoma. Chris Sale and the White Sox take on Justin Verlander and the Tigers and this should make it a super pitching matchup on Sunday night on ESPN. Let’s check on at this game picks at that you can bet on our recommended Sportsbooks.
This is a great weekend for betting with both college football and baseball action. This matchup is between the top two teams in the American League Central and it is expected to feature Cy Young contenders in Sale and Verlander.
The White Sox ace did not pitch well last time against the Orioles, hurting Cy Young resume. He is still 15-5 on the season with a 2.81 ERA. Maybe Sale is running out of energy as he has never thrown this many innings in a season before. He is 1-2 inhis last three starts with a 4.42 ERA. He is 1-2 inhis career against the Tigers with a 4.05 ERA. Bet On MLB
The Tigers ace was not good at all also last time out as he was shelled by the Royals for eight runs and 12 hits. His offense bailed him out so he didn’t take the loss but it was still not a good effort from Verlander and possibly took him out of the Cy Young race. He is 12-7 on the season with a 2.80 ERA. In his last three starts his ERA is 5.66. He is 13-10 inhis career against the White Sox with a 4.05 ERA.
The White Sox had lost 9 of their last10 inDetroit prior this series began with four of the last five going under the total. This matchup on Sunday is big due to both tea... [More]

Louisville -13, total 41.5
The Cardinals starts the season ranked 25th in the country and they’re laying two touchdowns at home. Kentucky is coming off a 5-7 season, when they missed out on a bowl game and if the Wildcats have another losing season it could be the end for head coach Joker Phillips. Louisville is coming off a 7-6 season; however, it got considered as a success as the Cardinals went 5-2 in the Big East and made a bowl game.
College Football First Halves
Kentucky’s Offensive Struggles
The Wildcats did not have a good offensive last year. They were the last in total offense and scoring offense in the SEC. They ranked 118th overall in scoring. The Wildcats return with most of their players from previous year but this does not mean these are good news. The Kentucky defense and offense was not very good and this makes us think this will not change this season.
Louisville Big Year
The Cardinals have an easy schedule; therefore, this could be a good year for the Cardinals. They are led on offense by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater who was the Big East Freshman of the Year last season and this season most of his talent returns. The Louisville defense was 23rd in the country a year ago... [More]

Georgia Tech’s Run Offense vs. Hokies Defense
The Yellow Jackets were second in the country last season in rushing led by quarterback Tevin Washington who rushed for987 yardsand 14 touchdowns. Four of their five offensive lineman return, due to this the Yellow Jackets will run it nearly each down again this season. The Hokies were 7th in the nation in scoring defense a year ago and they return nine starters.
What makes the difference in this game is Virginia Tech’s offense led by quarterback Logan Thomas who had3,482 yardsof total offense last season. The Hokies do have to replace David Wilson but Virginia Tech always finds talent in the backfield. The Hokies have won 6 of the 9 all-time meetings counting 37-26 on the road last year in Atlanta. The Yellow Jackets are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 road games while the Hokies are 0-5-1... [More]

The Irish will open their 2012 season at Ireland against a team that could be dangerous for them in the Midshipmen of Navy. Kickoff is set for 9 AM ET and televised by CBS. Most Sportsbooks opened this game with Notre Dame favored by 16.5 points. College Football Betting Lines
Kelly had great success with the college football lines at Cincinnati where he got the Bearcats into a BCS Bowl game with the 2009 Big East title. He was expected to be a quick fix for Notre Dame but that wasn’t the case even though the Irish are coming off back-to-back 8 win seasons under Kelly. The great news is that the program has more of his recruits now as well as his system good in place. With 14 starters back including 8 on offense, hopes are again high amongst the “Subway Alumni” that Irish Eyes will be smiling come January.
One Step Back Two Steps Forward
Navy fell to 5-7 for their first losing season since 2002 last year. Coach Ken Niumatalolo returns with 13 starters from last year for his 5th season. Navy is usually successful against BCS teams lines due to their attack that frustrates defenses. The Middies had a lot of close calls last year as they lost 5 games by a total of 11 points which means they were not far off their standards.
After losing to Notre Dame in 43 consecutive games the Midshipmen have beaten the Irish in 3 of the last 5 matchups. But Notre Dame crushed Navy last year 56-14 and should be toughe... [More]

On Saturday college football night, the 5th-ranked Oregon Ducks are strongly favored as they play against Arkansas State. Let’s take a look at this game that will be televised by ESPN and make our predictions.
Oregon -37, total 67.5
Arkansas State team won the Sun Belt Conference last season and the Ducks are laying more than five touchdowns at home against them. The Red Wolves come this season with a new head coach in Gus Malzahn who was the former offensive coordinator at Auburn. He has offensive talent to work with but his defense is not as good as we could expect. Without a good defense and facing the Oregon Ducks, which is team with one of the best offenses in the country, these are really bad news.
NCAA College Football Betting Lines
The Red Wolves have a solid quarterback in Ryan Alpin who threw for3,588 yardsand 19 TDs last year. Alpin ran for588 yardsand 10 touchdowns also. Arkansas State has two excellent wide outs in Josh Jarboe and Taylor Stockemer who combined for1,486 yardsand 9 TDs last year. Arkansas State is going to need to outscore teams since their defense must replace 7 starters from last year.
The Ducks have Marcus Mariota at quarterback this NCAA FB season. He is the first freshman to start at quarterback for the Ducks in more than 20 years. He will be handing the ball off a lot to senior Kenjon Barner. Both Mariota and Barner could have a lot of holes to run through since the of... [More]

# 1 Sports Betting Strategy–Money Management/Bankroll Management
When you are betting on sports you should always set aside a certain amount of money, which we refer to as your “bankroll”, in which you can afford to lose. Like with any type of gambling, you never want to bet betting on sports with money you cannot afford to lose. Set aside a certain amount of money that you can use for your bankroll for the week, the month, or the season. A general sports betting strategy for money management is to only make bets with 2%-5% of your bankroll. For example, if your bankroll for the NFL season was $1000 you would be making $20-$50 bets on each NFL game you wanted to bet on. It is also very important that you do not chase your loses with bigger bets. It is common for some sports bettors to be down money and feel in order to win it back they need to increase the size of their bets. This is putting yourself in the wrong mindset and will often lead to you losing even more money. Work with the size of your bankroll, and look to slowly increase it over the length of the season.
# 2 Sports Betting Strategy – Bet Sober and Don’t Go on Tilt
Although betting while sober seems like common sense, you’d be surprised how many people bet on sports under the influence. Is it a coincidence that the Las Vegas casinos offer free alcoholic drinks while you are gambling? I don’t think so. I don’t want to sound like your mother here, but betting while under the influence... [More]

The Chicago White Sox visit the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night and Chris Sale looks for his 16th win of the season on this game. Let’s take a look at the matchup and the game pick.
The race for the American League Cy Young looks to be for three or four pitchers only, and one of them is Chris Sale. He is 15-4 on the season with a 2.65 ERA. He has been doing great this season even on the last time out against the Yankees when he gave up just three hits in 7 2/3 innings while striking out 13. In his career against the Orioles, he has thrown 5 1/3 innings only and has an ERA of 5.06.
Baltimore will go with Miguel Gonzalez on Tuesday night. He is 5-3 on the season with a 3.66 ERA. He has gotten a couple of days extra rest, so he should be prepared for a good performance. His last time out wasn’t very good as he allowed eight hits and four runs in just five innings of work. Gonzalez has been better on the road this season than at home as his home ERA is 4.73.
