LSU vs Florida

In this game I am going to go with Florida with the points because LSU has not looked good so far. Last Saturday night LSU played a poor game against Towson a team that LSU should have blown off of the field. And so in this game go with FLORIDA + 21/2 over LSU.

College Football 2012 Week 1

Here are a few games that I am leaning toward. On Thursday night I am leaning toward Louisiana to cover over Texas A&M. The early line in this game shows L.A. Tech + 8 . This is a good line and I hope that this line goes up over 10 points and if it does L.A Tech would be an outstanding play in my opinion. South Carolina @ Vanderbilt- The early line in this game shows South Carolina-61/2. I feel that this is going to be a tough game to go for and for now I am going to pass. I do like Notre Dame-14 over Navy. /i feel that Stanford will blow out San Jose State.Laying -241/2 in this game appears to be the right move. It appeared in the beginning that Boise State @ Michigan State would be a very tough game, I do not think so, The line in this game shows Michigan State at -51/2 and I think that this line should be higher. I know that it is early. However, I feel that Michigan State will win this game by 7 to 10 points or more. LSU vs North Texas. The early line in this game shows LSU -45. The question that I have is How high will the line in this game go and will it go well over 50 points ? And if this game gets to be a total blowout will Saben take out the starters and hold back, If this does happen. The chance for a back-door cover by North Texas becomes greater. In the Michigan vs Alabama game the line shows Alabama-111/2., The hope in this game is to get between 14 to 17 points and if this should happen , Michigan might be a good play. College Football 2012 Week 1

I do know that it is quite early to begin to talk about the college football season. Here are a few games that might look good. Clemson vs Alabama _ I am hoping that this line does not go too high, I am leaning toward Clemson. Alabama vs Michigan - If this game goes up to Alabama -17 or more I will go with Michigan. The more points that Michigan gets the more I like it.

UNLV @ Wisconsin - In this game it begins to become obvious to me that UNLV is a bad team as its 2-11 record indicates. And going to Madison to take on Wisconsin does not help . You are going to be laying a lot of points in this game. Wisky should cover the large number as the trends will indicate. UNLV is 0-7 ATS on the road over the past two seasons. And only 2-6 ATS in its last 8 games.And in the last 7 games vs Wisconsin, UNLV is 1-6 SU. Also 1-11 ATS in lined games over the past 3 years. THE PICK- WISCONSIN.  Mississippi St @ Memphis - On paper this game looks to be a rout in favor of Mississippi St as the line indicates. Memphis won only one game last year tells you something. The trends in this game are lopsided in favor of Mississippi St. Memphis is 6-12 ATS in the last 12 games overall . And, 0-5 ATS vs Mississippi St. I feel that the line in this game is right on the money and there is no reason at all not to believe that this game will not be a blowout . THE PICK_MISSISSIPPI STATE. Kentucky @ Western Kentucky - There is no reason to believe that Kentucky will not win this game. I feel that they will cover because Kentucky is 12-4-1 ATS in the last 17 non-conference games. And playing a team that lost a lot of games last year. There is only one way to go in this game and that is with the cats. College Football Week 1.

There are a few games that I do like in week 1 of the college football season. On opening night on September 1, I am going to go with Mississippi State to win big over Memphis. Right now the line is Mississippi State -28. I feel that this line is right on the money and if this line holds this should be an outstanding play. Also on this same night there is UNLV @ Wisconsin. When we take a good look at this game one thing stands out in my mind and that is Wisconsin should blow out UNLV. However, There is one thing to keep in mind is that the line at this time stands at Wisconsin -35 and we are three weeks away.With this amount of time left the line could grow up to -40. I am not saying that the line is going to go up to -40. There is a very good chance that it could. And if this happens you must think very hard about passing on this game. And the reason is that when you have a line that high. The chance of a Back- Door cover becomes greater. On Saturday, Akron visits Ohio State . The line on this game is now at Ohio State -321/2. With Ohio State and all of its off the problems and with a new coach. There is no way to tell how to Buckeyes are going to play and with the line right now at Ohio State - 321/2. The possibility is there for the line to go up to Ohio State -40. Here are a few plays that I am leaning toward in Week 1. Mississippi State should have its way with Memphis and this will be an easy cover for Mississippi State. Ohio State will blow Akron out of Ohio Stadium, This will be a huge number to cover. Ohio State will cover without too much difficulty. Stanford will rout San Jose State. The only problem is how big will the number be ? Wisconsin should win and cover vs UNLV.

Oklahoma vs Nebraska - This should be one of the best games of the day. However , I do feel that Oklahoma will prevail in this game. Nebraska in a running team and If you can shut down the running game of Nebraska that I feel that Oklahoma will do. This will force the Huskers to throw the ball that will result in turnovers. When you get a run team behind in a football game in the 4th quarter. That is asking for serious trouble and you can forget it. And so the play in this game becomes obvious. THE PLAY IN THIS BIG 12 TITLE GAME IS ON OKLAHOMA.

Michigan @ Ohio State -  This game is going to be a blowout to say the very least. Looking at the stats in this game we find that Michigan is 0-7 ATS against Big 10 teams this year. And 0-8 ATS in games played in November. In the last 12 Big 10 games, Michigan is 0-12 ATS. 0-6 ATS against teams with a winning record.  Last week , Michigan was blown out at home by Wisconsin. This team is going to just make it to a bowl game. I will admit that Michigan is better than last year. However, This game will not be close. Lay the 18 points. THE PLAY- OHIO STATE.

This play is going to be an outstanding play as the stats will show and this is a game that I feel strongly that you can unload on and . Do not worry, This game WILL COVER AND YOU CAN TAKE IT TO THE BANK. The stats in this game are so strong that I feel it is almost a lock. I do not say this often,  Wisconsin @ Michigan -  In the last 5 games Wisconsin is 4-0 ATS. What makes this game a near lock game is this. Michigan is 5-21 ATS in the last 26 Conference games and 1-10 ATS in games played in November. The next two trends are huge. MICHIGAN IS AS I HAVE JUST INDICATED 1-10 ATS IN GAMES PLAYED IN NOVEMBER. 0-11 ATS IN THE LAST 11 BIG 10 GAMES. MY 25 STAR PLAY OF THE YEAR IS ON WISCONSIN -5 Wisconsin should cover in this game easily.

Georgia Tech @ Virginia Tech - I am going to go with Virginia Tech in this game being at home playing against a team that has only a running game and does not pass the ball well at all. In looking at the stats and trends in this game we find that Georgia Tech is just 3-5 ATS this year, And 1-3 ATS on the road. Virginia Tech is 7-0 ATS off of back to back covers as a favorite. Being at home and a 10 point favorite in this game. I feel that the line is just right and Virginia Tech should cover this line without too much difficulty. And so the play in this game is obvious. Florida State @ N.C. State - In this game I am going to go with N.C. State. In looking at the trends in this game tells you why  the Pack is the play. N.C. State is 8-0-1 ATS in the last 9 games in this series.And also 15-2 Ats after a bye week.And also 19-9 ATS in the last 29 games. And 8-5 ATS as a home dog since 2007. N.C. State most of the time plays well at home . And so the play in this game becomes obvious to me. THE PICK - N.C STATE.

Alabama @ Tennessee - This looks to be a trap line in this game. The books are begging you to take Alabama in this game when  you know quite well that Tennessee has play the top teams in the SEC very well and covering most of the time. I would not be at all shocked if this line goes up in the next few days and just before game time if a lot of action is on Tennessee .Looking at all of this one thing becomes obvious. THE PLAY IS ON TENNESSEE.

1. Notre Dame vs Navy - In this game it looks like the play in this game is going to be on Navy. You are going to be getting 7 points with Navy and with the triple-option offense that the Mids bring that is difficult for most teams to stop and with ball control that this offense brings to the table. The Irish will in my view have a difficult stopping to say the very least. And if Navy controls the ball . It will be awful tough for Notre Dame to score. And so the pick in this game becomes obvious to me . THE PICK - NAVY. 2. LSU @ Auburn - In looking at this game, One thing becomes obvious to me is that the Auburn defense looke to be suspect to say the very least. Case in point, Auburn allowed 40 or more points to Arkanasas last week. This tells me that Auburn cannot stop the pass. You are getting 4 points in this game and it could go up to as mamy as 7 points by game time. After taking a look at the stats and and all the facts of this game.. THE PLAY IS ON LSU.

I am again going to go with the Cincinnati Bearcats in this spot. After winning last week at Louisville. Cincinnatti comes home to take on South Florida with the Bearcats winning and covering 4 out of the last 6 games in this series and is on a 3 game ATS winning streak. Cincinnati looked very strong in the win over Louisville last week and putting a lot of points on the board in that win.Cincinatti should win this game and also should cover this number. This is a game that is going to be a hard one . I know that a lot of people are going to go with Kansas State. Last week against Nebraska. K-State could not stop the run. The quarterback ran wild. Running 80 yards for a touchdown at least twice. With this kind of defense. How could anyone go with K-State for the rest of the year. On the other side. Kansas is 1-8 ATS vs Big 12 teams. This can tell you only one thing and that is to PASS.
