November NBA Mojo Plays. Important dates you should consider on your wagering calendar.

I've developed a nice system for fading pitchers, quarterbacks, goaltenders and in this case... i guess i'm fading point-guards or key NBA players. I've got +40 units to show for in MLB and i'm already up +21 units in the NHL. But i'm still grinding it out with the pigskins and currently having a slow start in the NBA. Anyways, onto what this thread is about.

These games are potential blow-out winners, easy-overs or upsets. Pending injuries, of course.

November 10: I think the Bulls beat the Nuggets at home and then the Nuggets will get their revenge 11 days later. Public should be all over the Nuggets for this one. Bulls are playing well and Taj Gibson is doing just fine in place of TT.

November 10: Possible Wizards upset over the Heat. Wizards +6.5 should be a winner.

November 13: New York Knicks host the Warriors. Knicks will cover the spread at home. Medium play.

November 21: Both the Bucks and Grizzlies doing a back-to-back. Can't wait to pound the Over in this one.

November 22: New Orleans travel to Miami after a game against Atlanta. The Heat will win big!

November 22: Detroit travel to Phoenix after a game against Utah. The Suns will win big! The spread might be huge but it should be expected because the Suns are on a roll and might be 'til then.

November 22: Orlando @ Toronto. The Magic might be slightly favored but they will cover the spread on the road in this spot.

November 27: Intra-state battle as the Rockets host the Spurs. Spurs will cover the spread on the road.

November 27: The Celtics will blow-out the Raptors at home.

And last but not least, possibly my GAME OF THE MONTH:

November 28: The Mavericks will feast on the lowly Pacers on the 27th... only to get demolished by the Cavaliers the following night.

This is the sole reason why my units vary from 1-10 in the NBA; whereas in MLB my variance was a slim 1-3 units. There will be days when you want to take advantage of certain "situations". There will be days when that "big" game just jumps out at you. I've had those days during the baseball season also but... theres not many days when your listed pitcher can pitch a complete game -- if you know what i mean.

If you guys have any games to add that are on your radar, please feel free to share 'em.

Or if you disagree with any of these predictions, you're welcome to take the podium and voice your objections.

Dunno how you really do it but I got the Celts circled on the 27th and the Mavs on the 28th as well.

A glaring omission is Hornets @ Suns on Wednesday night where CP3's motley crew rolls into AZ and goes home with the W

O.K. Kane, I reviewed the Mojo System - NBA, a few simple questions:

How long did it take to compile?

Secondly, and more importantly, in your honest opinion, given the amount of sortable information, (# of persons over 30 days), how would you scale your degree of accuracy 1-10?

Maybe a third question: What was your biorythmic score during the period you scaled this particular Mojo chart?

I'm not bashing, you know I'm a subscriber. This past week I've begun reviewing my own W/L vs a rhythmic scale I'm not sure I trust.

So, do you chart yourself, comparitvely to your picks?

Thank you for the continued effort. It is facinating stuff.

Q: How long did it take to compile?

A: Each bracket/cluster of ratings takes anywhere from 20-30 minutes.

Q: Degree of accuracy?

A: I don't have a definite answer. We'll have one on Novemver 30th.

Q: What was your biorythmic score during the period you scaled this particular Mojo chart?

A: Interestingly enough, the mojo system seems to do well when my own mojo is high. Check out these NFL underdog picks that the system picked when i was going through a good cycle. LINK.

Q: Do you chart yourself, comparitvely to your picks?

A: Yes. When my mojo is low i pace myself and only make small plays. That means no GAME OF THE WEEK, POD stuff.

My mojo is really good this week so i should start working on this week's NCAAF and NFL ratings, i guess.

Notice, we both had the Steelers on Monday night. And congrats on the Steelers Team Total. That Hines Ward scamper into the endzone was the sweetest thing i've ever seen. Champ Bailey should've know better. Hehe.

Was at the Cavs/ Bobcats tonight, and Lebron got the wrong side of a few calls early to put him on the bench (2 charging calls both too tough to judge IMO)...I would not want to go against them tommorrow...

As long as Parker plays i think the Spurs will be fine in that Rockets/Spurs matchup.

If Parker is out, i will reconsider.

4 more days to go. We'll see.

HappyKane says:

Yep. I should have everything compiled in the next 10 days.

November 10: Bulls/Nuggets - Bulls covered the spread.

November 10: Wizards/Heat - Wizards got blown out.

November 13: Warriors/Knicks - Knicks got blown out.

 November 21: Bucks/Grizzlies - Over.

 November 22: Hornets/Heat - Hornets upset Heat.

 November 22: Pistons/Suns - Suns win easily by double-digits.

November 22: Magic/Raptors: Orlando covered -3 on the road.

November 27: Spurs/Rockets: Spurs over Rockets.

 November 27: Raptors/Celtics: Blow-out it is.

November 28: Mavericks/Cavaliers: Mavs took out the lowly Pacers easily as expected. The next day, Mavs got blown out by the Cavaliers. Note that the books made the Mavs/Cavs spread even before the Mavs & Cavs completed their games on the 27th.

HappyKane says:
11/27/09 10:51PM

True. True. Gotta think the Mavs have extra motivation tomorrow... being at home and catching a Mavs team coming of a double-digit road win.

Lets see how many minutes these guys clocked:

Jason Kidd 26 minutes - but he doesn't ever clock more than 30 minutes in this day and age. Barea is getting lots of minutes nowadays.

Dirk Nowitzki 30 minutes

Not seeing anything there.

Think it'll be a different story for the Mavs tomorrow as shots aren't going to be as easy in Ohio. We all know the Pacers don't play defense.

HappyKane says:

I mean to say:

Gotta think the Cavs have extra motivation on Saturday.

Hmm. I might have to reconsider the Cavaliers play because its also a back-to-back game for 'em.

Cleveland -7 might be a little steep. I still like it since the Mavs are coming off a big win on the road. Rudimentary let-down spot for 'em in Cleveland. And maybe extra motivation since the Cavs lost in Charlotte.

The books don't care, i think. They made these lines even before the previous games started.

good freakin call on the orlando game 13 days before it happened

lets hope your other situations are money...

do you want to change your thoughts on the spurs now that key players are injuried? or do believe that when teams lose a player there team rises to the occasions ( IE new orleans hornets ) spurs last year?

i know the Magic covered at Toronto and the Suns blew out the Pistons. Heat failed to cover against New Orleans though.
