Am I missing something with the Det/Indy line?

We all know that Detroit is on their way to get a first round draft choice but with getting 17 against an Indy team that quite frankly isn't exactly steamrolling teams this year, why do I feel compelled to take Detroit and the points?

Manning is finding ways to win but the difference is 2 touchdowns and a fieldgoal with a Detroit team that was actually keeping pace last week...

I'm just trying to find a reason not to take Detroit.  Can anyone talk some sense into me?

Wow, overwhelming responses... oh well worst case I'll make it up second halves. LOL

Green Bay Packers -2
Washington Redskins -7
Detroit Lions +17
NY Giants +2

Bet $100 to win $1,000

Orlovsky is starting at QB for Detroit.

Welp... there goes that $100.  Damn, why did I think Stanton was starting?  I knew about the concussion but I thought he was playing.  No wonder people thought I was nuts... I was.

Besides not knowing where the back of the endzone is he's not that bad.

Fantasy sleeper.

You say they aren't steamrolling this year but did you see last week's game with a very similar disgraceful team traveling to Indy? 35-3.

A few items on this game. The Lions have been very in four games this year, even maybee 5. THe Lions have a lot of injuries, as all bad teams do this time of the year. The Lions pass defense is horrible. Can the keep itclose? Dungy and Marrenlli are friends and Dungy being the class guy he is might not try to score 50. I believe will be close Colts by 7 to 10, then the Colts will pull ahead in the 2nd half and win by about 24 to 28 pts.

LOOK WHAT TENN & TB DID TO THEM & THEY NOT CONSIDERED JUGGERNAUT OFFENSES... I JUST DON'T SEE IT HAPPENING & I THINK DUNGY/PLAYERS WILL BE THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE NFL IF THEY LOSE HERE LIONS NEED TO ASK FOR TARP/BAILOUT $$$

Hello to all my friends on all the boards:----Have been away working for a long time and am now back home till January....Let's take this one step further and take Detroit M/L and retire on the payout !!! Nobody's supposed to go 0-16 and this is as good a time as any to get that one BIG WIN..(did somebody once say "On any given Sunday"??)

Not that it matters, but Mineesota took the lead for good with 11 minutes left in the game last week. Vikings sealed the win with a long drive resulting in a field goal toward the end, not what I'd call a game the Lions had the whole way and lost in the last two minutes. They did play hard and were in it in the 4th quarter so I agree it was a tough loss, but they just couldn't get the ball back with any time left as the Vikings chewed up the clock on their last drive and added a late field goal to give them the 20-16 win.

I like everything but the Lions can't touch them at all.
