What the books say for Wings/Ducks Game Four...

This is interesting.

Wings were -130 for Game Three.

They are now -150 for Game Four.  Ducks are bigger dogs.

Hmmmm........

I don't buy the reverse psychology issue because the Ducks aren't a secret anymore.  They've won 6 of 9 playoff games now and aren't surprising anyone anymore.

Even more interesting.....the Wings are still favored to win the series!!!

 Anaheim Ducks (Series)
+105
 Detroit Red Wings (Series)
-125


I think this series line is screaming for Ducks money, as I mentioned above, they aren't a secret anymore and are up 2-1.....yet still a nice +money dog for the series.

So, in conclusion...............the books still think the Wings take this?

What is your take/understanding from seeing these lines and regarding the points I've made.

Theyre not screaming for money to the Ducks..looks like a trap. Series could easily be 2-1 Detroit. The line is set correctly for both tonights game and the series play. Ducks are a hot team right now and the Wings are the best team in the NHL hands down. I still only give the Ducks about a 40% chance of winning even with the game in hand. I do hope the Ducks win it all tho..went to school with Bobby Ryan..

lmao I was saying this last night as I watched these guys skate up and down the ice and let guys go instead of finishing checks... made me laugh at how many opportunities to hit were passed up.. made me realize why the West has won more cups recently. they hit these fools instead of letting them skate free.

I def think Rafalski coming back is a BIG part of them being able to win this series. I guess Vegas at least learned from their 1st mistake of series re-adjustment in the Chicago series where they were favoredall of a sudden after winning game 2 and I jumped on Van at EVEN $ to win. 

I guess the easiest thing to say ere is, if you like them on the series, you have to bet them tonight cause there is no way they come back from 3-1 IMO. So, you are really betting the same thing. I will be jumping on both.

And I will expect every "benefit of the doubt" call to go Det way also this game.

Guys DO NOT read too much into the line. Bet the team you think will win. You ALWAYS see this kind of line change in both the nba/nhl playoffs. For example, if a team goes down 1-0 in the series at home, they make the game 2 line even higher. Why? Because they inflate the line for the "desperate team" which makes 100% sense.

With all that being said, I like the Wings, but don't bet them if you think Vegas is tipping their hand with this line. At all.

Had succes in taking Wings ML (parlayed with baseball) in game one, and took Ducks ML in game 2 and 3. i switched to Wings ML(-150) and parlayed it with NBA game tonight between Hawks/Cavs. Wings should prevail tonight on SOG and puck controlls over Ducks.
