Hi guys,
As seen in my doomed series parlay thread, I need advice about this hedging opportunity. Not really a true hedge, but a shot nonetheless.
Sorry about a pseudo double-post here, but I figured I would get more responces this way.
What do you think about the Canes chances of beating the Caps or Pens, whoever gets out of that one, to win the East?Canes would only have three games at home, but that doesn't seem to bother them as they have shown they can win anywhere. They've beaten a very good Devils team and are looking likely to do the same to possibly the best team in the NHL, the Bruins.
Would they falter against the Pens or Caps?
What do the Pens or Caps have that would be too difficult for the Canes to overcome? Surely Fleury or Varlamov can be beaten by the Canes, no? No "unstoppable Hiller" factor there, right?
So throw it out there guys. I'll need to make a decision before the Sunday afternoon games go off.
Just don't want to jump on the Canes +155 to Win the East recklessly only to see them get hammered in the Conference Finals.
Thanks.
