Yeah, I lean left.  But I have voted for plenty of republicans in my life.  And the dems did this SAME thing when Bush was in office....vote one way to make sure your hands weren't soiled and then do another thing.  Politicians suck.  I may vote AGAINST every incumbent this year.  They are no different....democrat...republican....they have their best interests at hand, not ours.

They are pandering for the same funds that the voted against.    Sidewalk hasn't been constructed yet.

vote them all out...and put in new ones that will vote for term limits.....and let them 'pay' out of their pockets for bills that are not funded!

what politician goes to Wash DC and does not return a Multi Multi millionaire far beyond how he went there?

I do not believe our founders thought that service like that was suppose to be a 50 year ordeal and massive money maker for the representative of his people!

throw them all out....and vote in ones with ethics...and if they fail vote them out again too.....and do not give them a huge retirement package for just serving 6 years in WASH DC!

The founders intended for us to have a citizen legislature very much like the States had before the revolutionary war.

Perhaps if we limited their time in DC to 30 days out of 90, had salaries, benefits, offices, staff etc, set by their individual state legislatures and banned all professional lobbyists, we might actually attract some quaility people who's loyalties were to the people of their state, not their party and or their biggest donors.

Simplistic solutions I know but it is better than what we have now and might be at least marginally effective.
