Arizona is "who we thought they are!!"  To easily the betting public gets season amnesia.......you know......when you only really remember the last couple weeks of a teams performance.  The public also loses the coke-bottle glasses they need sometimes and can't see things right in front of them........6 TO's last week against Carolina!!!  Geez, no wonder they won the game?!?!?!    Give Seatle 6 TO's and they would have pulled it out also.  Carolina had more yards running and more total yards.......Zona didn't do barely anything in the second half offensively.......Zona is a soft team that needs things to go their way early to win.  They need to be successful passing and protecting Warner and they need a few TO's if they are going to win.  Look back across the whole of their season and look at the number of teams that smacked them by 2 or more TD's.......I believe that they have more themselves than all other three teams left combined!!!  I don't recall Pitt losing by 40.......28.......or 21???  Same goes with Philly and Balt........But Zona did!!!!  Think about it...........is a team that is the last NFC team in the modern era to reach the championship going to win...........the Cubs of the NFL............a team that hadn't ever won two playoff games in a row!!!!!

C'mon guys.........this is a suspect defense, a rythme offense and a team that isn't ready or earned it's way to this threshold they stand before...........But this will be a team to be accounted for over the next few years and if they stay healthy and the play of thier own division gets better..........could be back in the same position next year, if not in multiple years......but not now........not with how increadibly bad they played in 1/3 of thier games this year.......not with 6 TO's by the Eagles and a defensive collapse by Jim Johnson..........because that is the only way it will happen.......if it's given to them.........I don't think this team can earn it.

Then again......I could be wrong.........it happens.......just not as much as my wife says.

Just a slight bit of clarification to these turnover comments.

Carolina had 3 turnovers in the first half and by that time the game was nearly over at 27-7. The other 3 turnovers merely added TOP to the Cardinals, they werent trying to score at all in the second half.

Keep thinking that the Cards won because of 6 turnovers and nothing to do with the quality of the team or the accomplishments they made, Carolina just gave the ball to the Cards and that is why they won.

And keep thinking that the Eagles will repeat the performance from earlier in the year, off a short week, the first cold weather game of the year for the Cards since they are playing at home with a closed dome at 72 degrees.

Great information, too bad it means literally nothing to the game in question.

nothing you just said really made sense. that game was over long before carolina went into rapid turnover

Home dogs are always dangerous... keep that in mind.

I agree with wall st - Zona outplayed Carolina the whole game.  these guys are good, and even if they are behind, I would love to have that passing offense trying to backdoor cover.

Basically this is a stupid post. You say the season means everything and the Cardinals didn't "earn" the right to be here. Hows that? They won just as many playoff games as Philly if i'm not mistaken.

Philly does have experience......LOSING THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP....

Are you serious with this post...?

First, you say that the Cards need things going their way at first to win... Hello, McFly...You must not be that bright, because the Cardinals were behind in each of the two playoff games and came back to win both...knock, knock.

You know what?  I can't even go on after reading that....

shocked to see so much support for the Cards... where was all this support when they were a pick'em against a much worse Atlanta team?  now suddenly everybody is in love with them... very strange...

and by the way, the Cards don't play in a dome...

Andy Reid is in the zone...looks like the guy hasn't slept in 6 weeks.  This is a hungry team with a much stronger run game and defense.

This is easy, E-A-G-L-E-S

One true thing is that Arizona has to get off on the right foot......if they go down by 10 they are all done

Sorry, Kramer, gotta' go with the home dog here, straight up to win. Philly is to one dimensional, and Westbrook is hurt (again) AND The G-men kind of suck right now, they lost 4 of their last 5, or was 5 of 6, essentially negating the Philly victory, soooooo

'Zona moneyline to the house!

TO's had nothing to do with it eh? The first one on the 10 yard line that set up the tie. The next two lead to 10 points directly........all of a sudden 17-7?!?! Three more picks in the second half........one at the Cardinal 20 the other in the Cardinal endzone........c'mon guys!?!?! If the NFC South was so tough.......then Tampa wouldn't have lost 3 of it's last four.......the last with a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter on the Raiders!!!!! Atlanta wouldn't have lost to almost every team they played that was stastically better.........including Philly!!!! And Carolina wouldn't have folded like a tent. All the people comparing the South to the East are nothing but squares. The Cards played a pathetic conference schedule.......let the entire NFC East average well over 35 points against them in the 3 games they played.........and again, Philly has played all three of these teams in the Championship games and went 2-1.......and defensively manhalded the Steelers and Cards already this year.......and I'm the one that is crazy for citing these FACTS!!! I'm the one who who's an idiot?? LOL A couple of you that came out hard here need to go dig into the facts and stop talking about the last game or two..........27 points allowed per game.........Minn, NYG, NE, and Philly averaged beating the Cardinals by 24 points this year......early, mid and late season games!!!!!! WAKE UP!!!! Open your eyes and close your hearts and put your money were the odds are in your favor..........while your at it........put some money on the Cubs to win the penant next year if you are so enamored with the Cardinals as a "total team" Wow........Now does anybody have any relevant stats, history, or matchup information to bring to the table????? I really would like to have a constructive, polite discussion about it if you do.

Landis with your 44% picking in the NFL this year........your opinion is null and void.......and Wallstreet.........70 picks in the survivor contest so far and your best streak is 2????? Kids please.........go play on the other side of the neighborhood with the other kids from the carpeted classrooms hang out........unreal!?!?!?

Hey Train.......5 trips to the NFC title in the last 8 years.........your homework assignment for the day is to find me another team that has done that in the modern era by kickoff Sunday, kid.

Charlie.......nice to see you again bud.......I haven't seen much of you on the threads this year..........those are very valid points, bud. That is the kind of comments and insight I'm talking about. Factual, to the point, politely stated. I agree that the Eagles wins over the last two weeks are not all that increadible. But when I look at the division philly came out of........the fact they played Pitt and Balt and Zona earlier to a 2-1 advantage, and that they have been one of the hottest teams over the past 6 weeks in the league, I got to go with them here. GL to you my friend.........and I have always enjoyed your avatars over the last couple years!
