Do multiple brackets make you less of a man?

Searching for integrity and honor on the internet is like finding a hot girl at a comic book convention - needle-in-a-haystack hard.

Finding those same attributes among sports gamblers – especially when cash is on the line – can be damn near impossible.

But if there is honor among thieves, then there must be honor among bettors. Which brings us to the ultimate question:

Is it right to fill out more than one bracket with different results? Or, should you make one bracket and ride it till the wheels fall off?

Myself, I’m a big believer in one bracket to rule them all.

You get one shot at picking UTEP vs. Butler. And if you don’t get it right, you deal with it like a man – not run to your backup bracket in which you picked that game as well as other matchups that failed in previous brackets.

My bracket, which is up on Covers.com right now, is the same one I’ll be submitting in the bracket pool with my buddies and the annual head-to-head-to-head matchup between my father and girlfriend (which she won last year, earning her a steak dinner with all the fixings).

Where do you stand on multiple brackets this March? Is it just harmless fun or a true test of a man’s character?

I liek your question J_Logan...i find I print off a bunch of brackets....fill one out initially on feeling and instincts,,usually not completing it.

Then i look into the games a lil more,,,injuries,,,whose hot, whose not, who has to travel, who is at home,,,potential match ups problems and even the spreads and rankings

I go through and tweak some things sometimes make large overhauls,,,,usually compiling like 3 or 4 semi filled brackets,,and 1 filled out completly and I Roll with that one.

so when i get to the computer that is the one I go with in all the pools. I guess I got problems,,i spend wayyyyyy too much time on my damn bracket!

I agree with you. I play 1 bracket. 1 bracket in 12,000 contests......but always just 1 bracket.

Good Luck to you.

What's up Bots? I figured it would be the Masters, if not a tournament before that.

He won his first Major there, so that place is special to him. I'm curious to see how he plays. I know I always play good after a layoff...

ask mike golic how many brackets should be done. I do only 1 and follow it

I've made 5 with different theories in play. I can't decide which I like the best. Once I do I will make that one sheet my one that I enter into all my contests and only play and keep the others for reference.

Great topic.

Yes, having more than one bracket does make you less of a man.  Go strong to the hole and get that weak shit out of here.

In the same Pool? Yes.

If you feel like being in mutiple Pools, and doing a change,  NO

Baylor btw is in my Final 4

i don't think doing multiple brackets necessarily makes you less of a man...

however, having looked at your bracket, i'm not overly confident in your manhood... were you making picks based on team colors? your bracket looks absolutely terrible...

Bracks, i have Baylor getting to the final 4, too... definitely the sleeper team of the tourney... don't think Duke has better than a 40% chance of beating them if they meet up... Baylor should actually be favored in that game... of course, they won't be...

back to the main point... i agree, i prefer to make one bracket... otherwise, you don't know what team to root for when the games are being played...

stick with one bracket... it's much more fun...
