Preface
Very disappointing day. After starting the night out 4-1 I closed 0 for 6 to end up sub .500 for my first time since posting. These days will happen, just have to bounce back and get them today. I think I have come to the conclusion that I am erasing totals off of my cards. I have tried to do this on numerous occasions but always get suckered in to what seems like a good total bet. No more. I went back and looked at my Excell file that I have, if you take totals off the list I'm hitting at 61% for the year...sickening.

From here on out I'm just playing spreads and want nothing to do with a total. So if you are in my thread and ask me what I think of one, I'll tell you don't play it! ATS my total since posting is 19-13, which is nothing spectacular but its profit. If I didn't think I could consistently be in the black I would not bet. Without totals my daily card will lose about 2-3 games which is probably for the best. I'm removing Total records from everything (including my Excel) because I do not want to chase and even think about a total! LoL...

Judging from the looks of it, today seems like a pretty strong day. Haven't really dug into much yet but it seems like there is some value on the board. I kind of like Marshall and Tulane off top my head. I'll dive into it tomorrow still a little agitated on my close last night. I'll get off tilt tonight and come back firing ATS tomorrow and over the weekend. Its going to be a solid weekend...I can feel it. BOL to everyone who drops by today...lets bounce back!

Knew I should have been on Vandy. I just thought this was OU/Okie State all over again and the better team would prevail. Oh well can't get them all...good call on Vandy and the UK look ahead.

I was on tilt last night from going 0-5 to end the night and finish 4-6!!!!!!

I normally post a play right after but this time didnt...lot of action today, I'll have my card this afternoon.

similar numbers here,,totals have burned me lately - side play has been fairly solid, last nite not withstanding, the grind continues

Iowa State +18

Why: I really like Iowa State here because I think Kansas will have a let down game, they are due for one. They are coming off two back to back huge games in regards to Mizzou and in-state rival Kansas State...both on the road in hostile environments. This atmosphere will not be what they have seen the last 4 games even dating back to Okie State and Baylor. I see a very lethargic game from Kansas and the only thing that scares me is a backdoor 2nd half huge run. Kansas is very good from the line, but this spread is large enough to where it won't matter. I think the Jayhawks take this one by 12-15.

Why: Boise State just coming off a huge win against Utah State. That doesn't phase me as this team has played close games all year long it seems like. For some reason they really struggle when it comes to winning by double digit points. They cannot put teams away late and they will let you hang around and hang around. Idaho beat Boise at home last time out. If there is anyone who can match Boise's inside post game its Idaho with their 6'7 and 6'10 insider players that are active. Boise's points in the paint will not come easy, and their big men will have fits. Idaho pounded them physically the first time, and I am looking for the same thing to happen this time.

Tennessee Martin -5

Why: Tennessee Martin is the class of the Ohio Valley conference. I like their position here, as they need to keep momentum and keep playing well to push for the big dance. One slip up will do them in. They like to run, push and score. And they are very good at it. They are averaging 80 points a game to the oppositions 65. I don't think Eastern Illinois can keep up here and I think Martin puts the pedal to the metal in the 2nd half and runs away with this one. I'm not expecting this one to be close...I hoping this one will not be close! LoL..

  • TM is 7-3 ATS in road games.
  • TM is 10-4 ATS against conference opponents.
  • EIL is 4-8 ATS as a dog.
  • EIL is 2-4 ATS when facing a team +.500.

Why: As I alluded to with ND and USF when they faced, I'm still not sold on this team. They are still the Notre Dame team that tanked the entire first year...and West Virginia at home here is clearly better. West Va has played as tough a schedule as anyone in the nation and they are about to be on the home stretch. Its nothing but down here from here and they can feel it. I see them building off the dominating performance at home against Nova. The biggest reason I am playing this game, is ND loves to play by the 3-ball...and that's WVA's strength, defending the 3-ball. They have put a blanket up on people from beyond the arc and tonight will be no different, they will give this ND team fits. Notre Dame's performance against Louisville was a fluke.
