One Play A Day: 0-0
Another frustrating day has led me to only betting 1 game a day until conference tournaments (maybe) and the big dance. I am now 30-36 after starting out 43-23. I have used 1 play a day method only one other time this year and it lasted for 9 days. There is absolutely nothing to back this us up I went 6-3...and then slowly started betting more and more games. Its feast or famine, a lot of guys say I bet to many games (including my book) but in those stretches where I go 12-6, 11-5 and 10-3 it pays off for times like this. I'm confident the ship will get righted before March Madness.
BOL to everyone today and thanks to those who stop into the thread. We are closing in on a good season, lets have a good finish. My one play a day is NCAABB only and its a 5 unit play for those who would be interested.
March 2nd Play Baylor +8 Why Baylor: I really think the win over Colorado and the whole "black out your name" thing could bring this team together. If they don't make a good showing @ UT and in the Conference Tourny they could find themselves sitting at the house for the post season. With a good showing, a realllllllllllllllllllly good showing, they might squeak their way into the big dance...so there is still something to play for here. I've ridden Baylor a good bit here this year and they have let me down for the most part, but I think tonight will be different.
Texas came off a huge win against OU (where they played out of their minds and still almost blew the game despite OU not having Griffing) and then had back to back horrible perfomances against TT and Okie State. With Kansas on deck as the season finale I think we see another piss poor perfomance tonight (even though they still win).
Baylor is not a great team on the road but I just don't see them losing tonight by 9+. Especially not with the uncertainity of Johnson and Abrams. Texas will win the game here I think, but I see this one being decided by 5-6-7 points. I don't see a blowout, both teams need to build on this game and I see it as a hardfought matchup that will be rather close.
