So I start the year off (posting wise) 6-3-1. Texas Tech choking at the end costed me a
70% weekend
. Thats betting though. This week I don't see a ton of games I like just yet. I will not be playing a mid week game, but if you put a gun to my head and made me choose, I would play La Tech -4.5 and buy the hook. Again, not playing it though. Last week I got on here too late to post breakdowns, which is usually something I like to do...I'll post them as I lock in the games. BOL to everyone this week and thanks for all those who will stop by.
Locked In: Game #1
Georgia Tech -6
Reason:
Mississippi State is just not that talented.Defensively they do not have enough team speed to defend the option attack successfully. MSU is 56th in the country against the run and this number will get worse after this weekend. Last week they played a very over-rated LSU team close...and lost a heart breaker. I think that will carry over to this week. Mullen in his first year does not have these guys mentally prepared yet, thats something that takes time. Georgia Tech by 17 and it won't seem close.
GT is
6-2 ATS
in their last 8 road games.

Locked In: Game #2
Vanderbilt +8.5
Reason:
This play has nothing to do with how bad Ole Miss looked last week, and everything to do with the average head coach they have. Ole Miss has Alabama coming to their house next week so I think a look ahead factor could be in play here. Vanderbilt is scrappy and they will hang around and hang around...like they normally do. Bobby Johnson will do a good job getting his team ready to go for this game and they are in a must win here. Ole Miss by 6.
