Kansas +3
I am just not sold on K-State. They have put putted along the last year and half since they lost to UL-Lafayette last year. They just are not a very good team, but they are well coached I supposed. Their QB play is ridiculous and I think teams are finally realizing you need to load the box and make that kid beat you...to which he cannot. I've been impressed with Kansas this year, but not their coaching staff. I think its do or die for these guys, I backed them earlier in the year and got burned. I think that they are a different team at Home and look for them to win this one out right.


West Virginia -10
I see Daniels struggling tonight against a really fast, quality defense. I think the LSU game was an eye opener for WVU, they realized they just were not that good. The only thing that worries me here is I absolutely hate to be on the same side as Bill Stewart. Dude is just terrible. I think WVU keeps the ball rolling tonight against USF (who hasn't really beaten anyone noteworthy this year). Not the same team they have been. It'll be close, but I think Devine breaks a couple late and WVU pulls away to win by 17.

How can you say Kansas has impresses you

They lost 6-3 vs a DIA school, got blasted by USM and 10 days ago lost 55-7 to an average Baylor team, how is that impressive?

Not hating on you, but what you said makes absolutley no sense at all.  Your impressed with a team that blows but you do not like the coaching  I thinks I will stay away from this game altogether.

I've said it before, I don't care so much about outcomes of games when I am analyzing a team, there are a lot of factors that go into how much a team gets beat by, or even if they get beat. Picking games is different than analyzing a team.

I've seen Kansas 3 times this year, and every time I've come away impressed with their overall team speed and athleticism. For whatever reason they just have not put it together yet. If you look at stats alone, Kansas looks less than stellar, but if you have watched them play this year...they aren't all that bad. Which is the reason I said I am not impressed with Gill and company so far. They have done a bad job in getting these guys prepared, and executing the gameplan. Either that or their schemes and overall design just sucks.

The line is only 3 for a reason. Vegas sees essentially what I see...that Kansas has more athletes across the board, but K-State has better coaching. Game can go either way. In this case, I'll take the team with better players, which happens to be the team at home.


Perhaps I should have made myself more clear in my opening.

Explained much better.  Gill ran more of an option/spread at BU didn't he?  Mangini primarily a passing offense while at KU, it will take Gill time to get his players into the system, but until then, they will struggle.  I'm not sure they will be able to keep up with KSU here.  I agree 100%, this line is calling for you to take KU, but the average gambler will be on KSU, just what Dr Vegas wants.

I guess just @ Washington last year and @ Nevada this year have me scarred! Cal is notorious for under performing on the road.

I would not play that game large, but like USC to bounce back at home though.

I will never back this Kansas team again. I have yet to see a worst coaching staff in the country this year than Kansas'. Turner Gill could possibly have been the worst hire in the country last year. This team has given up on him.

Sad too, because they really have some good young talent.

Thinking KSU coasts rest of way, KU will no huddle try to make some big plays. SF I didn't like the first half by WVU so I'm going to try and middle, at worst I'll split.
