Locking in LSU +7.. LARGE

Will do a write up later in the week just wanted to post this here. Taking the half point now just in case it goes back down to 6. Biggest reason for taking LSU is AU's defensive secondary is a joke, if Jarrett Lee gets bulk of snaps (which he should) LSU will be able to put points up through the air. This is the best and fastest defense Aubie has played, and will play.

5 of last 6 have been decided by less than a TD and I see this one as no different. Contemplating making a play on LSU ML. It's all about defense, and LSU has one.

Newton is a good QB but he will not be able to run through the tackles like he did all day against Arkansas. You can't arm tackle this man and LSU knows this.

Injuries for Auburn suffered during Ark. game.

Senior safety Aairon Savage out with ankle injury. Soph. corner T. Bell is also day to day with an ankle injury.

 

Alot of Soph. and freshman corners/safeties will be called upon to step up in the game.

Corners - Fresh. Chris Davies , Soph Anthony Morgan

Safeties - Soph. Akeem Means. Juniors - Mike McNeal and Drew Cole.

Its 6.5 right now, bought the hook (-125)...left that out. I have a service that tracks online books, it looks to be 6.5 at 6/8 of them and 6 at the other 2.

Agree Fast Eddie...LSU's defense will swarm him. Fastest defense in the country. If Auburn's defense wasn't so beat up and pathetic I would be worried about LSU's anemic offense. Line is too high IMO. Auburn getting physically and emotionally drained.

LSU #3 in total defense. #6 in rush defense giving up 85 yards a game.

AU #62 in total defense. This bodes well for a bad but progressing LSU offense.

IMO. Les Miles not naming a starter for the first time this season = Jarrett Lee starting.

Thanks for the props...if I can get LSU at anywhere around +300 I'll probably pull the trigger for them. I think it'll be around +250 or +260 though. LSU is a very bad matchup personnel wise for Auburn. Only thing that scares me is Les Miles, you never know what he is going to do. Not sure if you are an Auburn fan, but this weekend I kind of think you guys lose straight up. Still early, lots of analyzing to do regarding money line. I do know I am in large on the +7 spread.

Yea Im a pretty big Auburn fan. But I do try to look at games realistically.  Wouldn't want to back the team that I saw play McNease Saturday, but also wouldn't want to back the AU defense. I'm not playing the game (rarely play AU games anyway). Pulling for you, on all except this one. GL

I was thinking the same thing.  Hard to bet against Cam right now at home but LSU has the personnel on defense that can do it.  It is certainly +6.5 at betus and I could buy to +7 -120.  BOL!

Agree. But LSU's D will pose more of a threat to AU than AU's offense will to LSU. IMO

Their defense has come up big when it mattered.. Ask Mississippi State, Clemson, South Carolina, and Kentucky... Ive seen every game they've played, have you?  Stats can be misleading is my point.  They have been played their best football during crunch time, ie the 4th quarter.

Thats why they play the games, though.
