SIMPLE RULES: Vote for 5, and each vote counts the same. Now until New Year...I will count the votes periodically and update it.

I will start it off with my 5, and a few that just missed my cut to give some ideas, then you can take it from there! I'm sure there are several I have forgotten or just overlooked, but that's why we vote....

My 5 vote getters:

rush- simply consistent and good. Usually seems to be opposite of public side which I like.

BigEastExpert- I love specialists and nobody knows their conference better than BEE...

target9- lots of experience and desrves his due.

nostradamus12- posts a lot more plays than I like to play each week, but is solid with angles and analysis.

badlands- slow and steady wins the race..doesn't chase it when it's bad, and in it for the long haul.

Honorable mention for me: Wahoo, Jim_Tressel, Uconn34....

I AM SURE I'VE LEFT A LOT OF GOOD ONES OUT, SO START THE VOTE!!! HAVE FUN GUYS AND THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT INFO THROUGHOUT THE YEAR....LETS MAKE SOME $$$ DURING BOWL SEASON!!

Rush- consistent over years

RJ Sizzle/Settle Down Spaz (mostly the same plays and theories on plays)

Mr. Bator (usually very solid in college...much better in college than pros although I think NBA is his best sport)

These are the ones that stood out to me....Several are good cappers but could not decide between them to put them on the list

Jimmy the Greek- best insight on Covers....picks are decent too, but whenever I want to bet a game, especially an SEC game, I read his posts to make sure I am not missing something....

Hate to admit it on some of these but I always look at what they are doing...

Nostradamus-He sees the future

BoomBoom-really good with college totals

ForecastingFloyd-doing solid in the NFL

MrGreek-he even told us he was good

BigUnit-because I never give up even though I get smacked!

Mr Insight is decent too, he doesnt go overboard with too many picks.

I like the idea here, get people's opinion on who they trust and who they like to follow. It is interesting to read what people think and why they follow certain people.

I do not post very often, but use Covers daily to research, read, and get a few laughs!!!

For me, I have to lean hard towards the peeps that have been posting on here forever!! I see it every year. Some one comes on here posts hot plays, has a good streak, but once they start losing they vanish.

My favorites that have been on here for a long time, in no particular order:

It's mostly a popularity contest. I'm familiar with most of the names on the list & a few of them are good solid cappers. Even though I've been good over the L4 years (this last season was bad), I don't participate enough to be remembered, which is fine. I enjoy reading the threads & a lot of good info gets distributed. As long as money is being made it's all good.

Perfect example of a long time player here, knows the best veterans, and they only need to be referred to by initials in some cases. (ie. GH= GameHunter, and KGC= KindergardenCapper).

Not to take anything away from new and solid cappers, but experience counts for a lot in these forums.

Not much time left for voting...I will add them up after the National Championship game, but it certainly looks like BEE is the man. His posted bowl record would certainly seem to back it up, although I know some have had a better run. For one, I know rastad has been on a great run, and I have been watching Tree88 closely as well and his writeups have been excellent.

it's like voting on who made the most points in a basketball game on something that's already measurable (if you collected the data)...you simply take the wins over losses (-110) long term over 3-5 yrs or more...example if two cappers average season W/L season is 110-80 = +22 and another is 80-70 = +3 and you have the answer....neither record example is common long term .....other than 5-10 cappers, most are probably closer to .500 long term than people realize, remembering the good streaks and forgetting the bad ones
