 A lot can happen between now and week 1. If there are no injuries. Let me get this right Dallas (Huge Public Favorite) is only laying 3 to a Tampa Bay team that has basically no QB, Lost there long time defensive mastermind Kiffin, and there head coach. Dallas got rid of the cancer TO. This line is only Dallas by 3 ? Really.

I remember this, but NO WAY there was line movement like that.

I think it went to dallas -5.   No way the line is going to move from a FG to a TD unless Manning/Brady/Roethlisberger is injured.

I have to say i disagree on this game.  The lions should be able to stay in the game against a weak saints defense.  Im curious to see who comes out to be the starting qb for the lions.

yulp i remember this game so clearly. we had a party and was debating to take dallas, my friend said hey its a sucker bet too easy to take dallas. what do you kno wit was a blow out.  too early too tell anything. right now. but yea buccs still have a defense so taking the points at home seems logical

You don't even need to watch Pre-Season games for this answer.....it will be Daunte.....he came in this year 30 lbs. lighter than last year and is getting the starters rep of the snaps in these mini-camps....



The young piece of shit sits til later in the year/next year.

Normally i would tend to agree with you.  But we are talking about an 0-16 team from a year ago.  There cant do any worse.  Maybe a good time to throw the rookie in the fire and see how he takes to it.

And that is an NFL Fact. Better Team wins more often than not and a FG pushes. I like the # on this game.

Just remember who we are talking about here. Dallas always starts out strong, there problem is towards the end of the season.

Lions couldn't score more than SEVEN on a crap Saints 2009 defense.  In Detroit.  In a game that meant nothing for either team.

Saints have concentrated on upgrading this side of the ball from the coaching staff down in the off-season.............



Saints win this by 14+.

Low line creates doubt and keeps people off.

Who has Dallas got at WR? Williams? He's a bum. Witten will catch most of the balls. TO is gone, not that TO was all that good, but the team thought he was and they played better with him, they won't be playing better with Williams running the wrong patterns and loafing.

The Dallas D has lost Thomas, Canty and Ellis which could be a good thing. Big question mark.

This team does not have heart, just look at their last game 44-6 at a must win game for a playoff spot. TB has a few question marks too Home dog at +3.0. Dallas as a fan favorite, alot of money on them. Dallas always riding hype.

I think Dallas will have trouble scoring, no real coach and the passing game not up to par, it'll be close.

Sucker bets aint "sucker bets" early in the year. This kind of thinking got me in a quick hole last yeat. Dont be afraid to lay chalk here and there, including road games early.

With all said, then wouldn't catching 7 is more of a sucker bet than giving 7 since we all know Indy got a new coach and most of the games are decided by a fg.

For all you guys that don't think there are sucker bets week 1 I''l be more than happy to be your bookie for football season.  Joe Square public uses last year's teams to handicap week 1 forgetting players and coaches change teams. Yeah week 1 there are no sucker bets. Everything is as easy as it looks. Vegas gives out free money week 1 .

 

Go ahead and lay 7 with Indy to the Jags also. Indy new coach. Tom Moore is gone. Peyton manning doesn't even know what the fuck is going on there. Games between these 2 usually decided by a field goal.     Indy run defense.

Why wouldn't they make Dallas -6.5 ? They could get just as much action from Joe Public and cowboy homers who think they win by 4 touchdowns. Because it's to many points.

Dont be suprise to see Tampa win some games this year, especially over Dallas.  Dallas is not all that great without T.O., ask the Eagles.  Roy Williams is garbage, and I dont see them throwing on Talib at ALL.  No reason to have to double up on T.O. so Tampa's ball hawks will be looking for some Romo mistakes.  This game is going to be closer than you think.  Have any of you guys been down here in August/Sept.  It is murder in that fuckin sun, (and is the number one reason I wont go to a game).  You can be the best team ever and come down here in Sept and lose.  This heat is a true bitch.  Ill be looking at the under when the time gets a little closer.
