YTD: 131-131  +13.60 units

3-0 last night.  3 plays......

Miami +165
CWS +110
Tampa Bay +140

Both Minor and Turner have struggled this year.  R/L splits favor the Fish, so I'll gamble with Turner.  Considering recent form, I don't think Chen should be favored here.  Taking a shot with Odo, who was a tough luck loser last time he squared off against Wainwright.  Rays are tough to strike out, and think we see a close game.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

YTD: 128-131  +9.75 units

2-1 yesterday.  3 plays.....

LAD -105
Texas +165
Baltimore +120

Short line for Volquez.  Think Ryu dominates.  You guys can have Shane Green at -180.  I'll gamble the other way.  Norris on a bounce back, and has good numbers vs the Halos.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

My boy made a headline on covers

New York Giants right guard Chris Snee retired today.  He's not really my boy, as he was a year younger than me and a lot better friends with my brother, but I played basketball and baseball with him in high school.  Amazing athlete, and even better person.  Type of guy you are proud to know. Wish him the best.

1-2 last night.  3 plays......

Houston +115
Tampa Bay -130
Baltimore +155

Taking a shot with the Astros against a lefty.  Cosart coming off 2 bad outings, but has been profitable as a dog.  Think Correia gets smacked.  Gausman is legit.  I'll grab the generous number.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Friday Plays

YTD: 123-126  +9.35 units

Lets get the second half started.  3 plays......

Cleveland +135
Philadelphia +140
Tampa Bay -125

Taking a shot with the Tribe.  Bauer in good form going into the break.  Atlanta struggles with strikeout righties.  Burnett spun 7 shutout innings last time against these Braves.  Looking for a split here.  Gibson strikes out no one, and the Rays lit him up back in April.  Think Cobb goes on a run in the second half.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

1-1 last night.  3 plays......

Pittsburgh -100
San Diego +120
Arizona +140

Reds are banged up, and Latos has been fortunate.  Splits favor Locke and the Bucs.  Hahn is legit.  Taking a shot against Haren, who SD has seen twice this year.  Snakes own Lincecum and looks like they will get Trumbo back.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

0-3 last night.  2 plays......

CWS +130
Kansas City +105

The King struggles at Cellular.  Quintana in good form, and the M's not the best against LHP.  Guthrie competes.  Think House gets knocked around.  On a slide.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Bad spot for Chen.  I'll take Darvish at a cheap price.  Dickey in a bounce back.  Jays building mojo.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Philadelphia +125

Bad spot for McFarland.  Henderson is smoke and mirrors.  Fading Timmy after the no-no.  He got rocked last year after he blanked SD.  The kid for STL is legit.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

2-1 yesterday.  2 plays.......

Tampa Bay +100
CHC +120

Rays are hitting and scoring of late, while the Yankees are not.  Archer has good numbers vs the Bombers.  Arrieta has been downright dominant in his last 4 starts.  Peavy is past his prime, and has been very hittable.  The Cubs have knocked around better RHP over the last 2 weeks.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Nats hit LHP.  Cubs struggle with RHP.  Think Leake will do well pitching in the big park. Maybe the Giants are a little flat after celebrating the no-no last night.  That's all I got.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Houston +115

Second straight lefty for the Mets.  Wheeler on the rise.  He has shown a propensity to flop after giving up 0 runs, but in all of those instances his next start was OTR.  No chance the Mets take 2 in a row from the mighty A's.  Shields been getting knocked around.  Haren competes.  Think this game is a coin flip, so I'll back the pitcher in better form at a generous number.  Lefty/righty splits favor Houston.  I pretty much back McHugh every time he's dogged.  See how we do.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Like Roark.  Santana only dogged once this year, and lost.  Houston gets a lefty.  Taking a shot with Elias, as KC hasn't been great against LHP.  Biggest price tag yet for Hughes.  I'll grab Danks while the Twins also struggle with lefties.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Taking a shot against Price.  'Stros hit lefties, and already saw Price.  Cosart gives Houston a fighting chance.  Good matchup for Collmenter, and bad for Timmy.  Not sure where these lines go, but I'm OK with these prices.  Have a few leans.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Last time Tanaka threw a CG,  the following start he got hit by the Cubs and the Yankees lost 6-1.  Small sample size, and doesn't mean anything.  Stroman throws strikes, and think he can hang here.  Homecoming for both Stroman and Melky.  Hughes is 5-0 as a road dog.  Lester has been hittable.  Sox bats been weak.  Texas gets another lefty tonight.  Yu has been money in this price range, while this is the first time Milone has been dogged at home.  I'll grab the better pitcher with the small price tag.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Votto back gives the offense a boost.  Like Bailey vs Garza.  Zimm and the Nats are on 11-4 run when he is favored on the road.  Lynn walks too many.  TB has been fade material.  McHugh is tough to hit.  Hope that blister is healed.  See how we do.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Stults has been extremely hittable, and the Phillies hit better against lefties.  SD bats are non existent.  Perhaps I'm going to the well one too many times, but I'm taking a shot with the Nats.  Hudson's toughest challenge this season and the line reflects it.  Nats have the hotter bats right now.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Had a bad feeling about the Tribe yesterday, but my degenerate self couldn't lay off.  Ventura is dealing with an elbow issue, and is learning to manage it.  I know he's off extended rest, but Cleveland hits RHP at a much better clip than LHP.  Bauer has faced some potent offenses OTR, so I think he will manage this KC lineup enough to get the W.  Biggest price tag yet for Keuchel.  I'll go the other way with McCarthy who has been better than his numbers suggest.  Snakes have the Astros' number of late.  Coming back with the Nats again today.  I like Roark, who is backed by the hotter bats.  See how we do.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

I mentioned yesterday that Houston usually looks good as a dog, and nothing has changed today.  Peacock is settling in nicely, while the Frisbee is approaching the end of his career.  I trust the Houston bats.  Bumgarner on a tear, but so is Fister.  Nats hit LHP at a nice clip.  Small sample size, but Bum has been better OTR.  Game looks like a coin flip, so I'm grabbing the dog.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

The Tribe are hot, and hitting RHP.  Not a fan of Martinez.  Texas has hit LHP at a good clip this year, but they haven't seen one in awhile, and on top of that are decimated with injuries.  Houston looks good as a dog almost every time.  Cosart has given his team a chance every time out.  Looks like a coin flip, so I'll take the pup.  See what happens.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL
