What kinda Dead Head are you?

My travels lead me to believe there is a broad spectrum.  I never was into the drugs, but I grew up and hung around enough to appreciate the music and the culture.  You either like it, or ya don't.  Europe in 72 for me.  Love me some Scarlet/Fire though, too.

What y'all like?

Friday Plays

YTD: 15-16  -1.05 units

2-2 yesterday, dropping some juice.  2 plays tonight....

Milwaukee -105
Oakland +140

Stepped in front of the Brewers yesterday and paid for it.  Backing them here.  Think Peralta gets the best of Liriano.  Like that Milwaukee saw a lefty yesterday, too.  Milone crushed it on the road last year, going 4-1 SU, and 3-1 as a dog.  Think the A's have have a shot at this price.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Thursday Plays

YTD: 13-14  -0.90 units

Took it on the chin yesterday, going 1-4.  Moving on.  2 plays.....

Pittsburgh -125
Philadelphia -120

Pennsylvania.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Wednesday Plays

YTD: 12-10  +2.65 units

1-1 yesterday, netting a push.  1 afternoon play.....

St. Louis -140

Shelby Miller > Mike Leake.  Think we're getting a decent number due to the Pirates roughing up Miller last week.  Leake and the Reds have struggled against the Cards, and think they get swept.  Have a ton of leans to narrow down.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Tuesday Plays

YTD: 11-9  +2.65 units

0-2 yesterday.  1 afternoon play.....

Milwaukee -110

Like Lohse enough to lay the small chalk.  Think the Brew Crew get to Kendrick.  No Utley today for the Phillies.  Going through the rest of the card.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Saturday Plays

YTD: 7-6  +1.40 units

2-1 yesterday, picking up over a unit.  3 plays.....

Philadelphia -120
San Francisco -115
Atlanta +140

Short on time.  Like both Lee and Bumgarner at these numbers.  Nationals have struggled against the Braves.  Taking the 40 cents in what I expect to be a close game.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Friday Plays

YTD: 5-5  +0.00 units

1-1 yesterday.  Just treading water here in the early going.  2 plays....

Milwaukee +140
St. Louis +105

Taking a shot with Estrada on ring day in Boston.  Brewers went 8-3 last year when Estrada was dogged.  Grabbing the nickel with Miller and his supporting cast.  Pittsburgh hasn't hit a whole lot to start the season, and that was against the Cubs.  Might have a couple more plays but these 2 stuck out right away.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Thursday Plays

YTD: 4-4  +0.00 units

1-2 yesterday, losing a bit of juice.  1 afternoon play.....

Miami +100

Taking a shot with Turner and the Fish, who get to see yet another lefty.  Like Cincinnati again, but with rain in the forecast I'm not inclined to play a game that could be postponed and or have several delays.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Wednesday Plays

YTD: 3-2  +0.95 units

1-1 last night, losing a little juice.  1 afternoon play....

Minnesota +120

Like Correia against a kid coming off Tommy John.  Think he grinds out a win.  Going thru the card now.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

YTD: 2-1  +1.00 units

Cashed St. Louis yesterday.  1 play......

Cleveland +120

Like Kluber.  Think this is the best number I'll get.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Monday Plays

YTD: 1-1  +0.00 units

Cashed San Diego last night.  1 play.....

St. Louis -125

Laying a little chalk with Wainwright, and backing the healthier team.  Cincinnati bullpen is seriously shorthanded.  Have a few leans, but early on it feels like throwing darts.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Sunday Plays

YTD: 0-1  -1.00 units

Ready for opening day tomorrow.  1 play tonight.....

Sunday Plays

YTD: 41-55  -17.10 units

Cashed Michigan yesterday.  Put one in.....

Wichita St. -4.5  for 2 units

Wichita too experienced and battle tested.  Think they cruise here.  Going over the rest of the card now.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

YTD: 0-0

First play of the year.....

Taking a shot.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Friday Plays

YTD: 37-54  -20.00 units

0-1 last night, as St. Joe's couldn't hang in OT.  Rough season, but still firing.  2 plays.....

Louisiana-Lafayette  +13.5
George Washington +4

Like both of these coaches, and think they give their teams' a shot to win SU.  Grabbing the points.  $hit if I know.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Thursday Plays

YTD: 37-53  -18.90 units

Bricked Iowa last night.  1 play.....

St. Joseph's +5

Think this one goes down to wire.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Wednesday Plays

YTD: 37-52  -17.80 units

1 play....

Iowa -2

Cuonzo has 3 players.  Fran runs deep.  Veteran group should ready to go.  Don't think Tennessee keeps up.  Current form makes this a nail biter, but I think they are the better team.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

NCAA Tournament Snake Draft

Going live.  8 guys, picking 8 teams.  1 point for a win.  Most points wins.  Here we go.....

#1  Syracuse
#2  Florida
#3  Michigan St.

Saturday Plays

YTD: 35-52  -19.80 units

2-1 yesterday.  1 play.....

Michigan St. -2

Badgers squeaked one out in Madison, but Sparty was without Dawson and Appling.  With those two back in the rotation, I like MSU to get revenge and the cover.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Friday Plays

YTD: 33-51  -20.70 units

0-2 yesterday.  West Virginia built a couple houses with all those bricks last night.  Full day of basketball ahead.  1 play......

Louisville -19

Think they still in blowout mode.  Like the Cards to go on a run.  Still going through the card.  Insight and comments always welcome. BOL

Carpenter or Reyes?

5 player keeper league.  No round designation, just keep any 5.  I've already penciled in: Miguel Cabrera, Joey Votto, Bryce Harper, and Adam Wainright.

I'm leaning to Carpenter for the last spot.  Reyes is older, and an injury risk.  Carp is solid, and will have 2B eligibility this season.  I like "sure things" when it comes to the first few rounds.  Reyes is more risk than reward going forward, IMO.  Who you guys like?

Monday Plays

YTD: 29-48  -21.60 units

Don't recall what happened last time out.  Been a pretty bad season, but I'm too much of a degenerate to just lay down.  1 play tonight......

Kansas St. +9

Was not impressed with OKST in the Kansas game.  Marcus Smart was a ball hog who took bad shots.  Their set offense was non existent.  Sure they have talent, but I don't think they have the balls to bounce back and blow out anyone tonight.  I don't trust Travis Ford to have his team mentally prepared, and I don't trust the Cowboys' themselves to be in the blowout mindset here.

Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL

Rubberneck 20th Anniversary Tour

Everything I did in high school, I did listening to this album.  Got tix for April show in Philly.  Hard to believe it's been 20 years.....

Bricked Mizzou last night.  1 play......

Miami +10.5

Like the points in a grind game.  Big game on deck for UVA.  Insight and comments always welcome.  BOL
