Alrightie kiddos! JR is back! LOL. Can't wait for the playoffs to go crazy with those prop bets again. Anyway, I'm back to capping games! Hopefully we'll take the man's money and we'll leave him with nothing! Most of my plays are them faves so better be careful!
Utah-4
Utah/New York Knicks UNDER 207.5
This Utah team won't stop at nothing. Look at them play without D-Will at the helm. The Knicks looks like a real team now with D'Antoni at the helm. Fully utilizing what they do best, they prove that they can really win games but that'd be at full stop for this game as Utah is a good defensive team. Look for the Utah Bigs to take advantage of the Knicks' front court. The home team usually wins in their last 5 meetings and the Knicks covering the last 7 games (between the two teams). This should be a different story now. Utah to cover and win! This game is also won't go pass 207 as the total is a gift.
Dallas-4No crap line here. I don't even sense this Dallas team taking it easy here as they'll be facing the Lakers back home in the 11th of November. The last time the Clippers won against Dallas is way back 11/08/06. Dallas has been playing crap basketball. Even in their wins (against San Antonio and Minnesota), I wouldn't count that as good basketball. LA Clippers is no different. Even with Camby and Davis in it. They are still the other LA team. Josh Howard should wake up in this game and Dirk's mind should be back in competing mode. No worries with "the Clippers is bound to win" move your markers to when they play Sacrament or San Antonio.
Detroit-2This shouldn't even be put up there. Two things here. Detroit has this game on their minds and they'd want REVENGE more than anything else. AI should more or less be used to their system. Boston. Look for Detroit to blow them out here. And yes! You'd feel that this reasoning is biased! LOL.
Atlanta-5
No Josh Smith? No Problem! Atlanta has had their hardest time playing the Thunders but after that Play-off stint they made I'm a believer. Al Horford is for real. Joe Johnson is for real. Mike Bibby is finally getting his fair share and I'd like to believe that Marvin Williams is 100% healthy. Jeff and Kevin of the Thunders is their only real option on the court and their productions should be matched by Johnson and Horford. I've only seen Atlanta play twice but man they've changed defensively. Look for them to limit this Thunders team to mid 80s. I'd like to take the UNDER but it feels like the total is pretty sharp.
Denver-8.5This is a dead give-away. Denver owns this Memphis team and they're playing at home. Chauncey should be used to George Karl's system and he should be able to make a better impact in this game. Billups > Mayo. Melo and Rudy Gay should more or less cancel each other out leaving Marc Gasol to K-Mart, Nene or the Birdman. No real threat from the Grizz. Taking the Nugs to the bank!
Golden State+4
Golden State/Sacramento OVER 215.5I know that when both teams faces each other, it's as if it's their very own version of the NBA's All-Star game. It should be the same in this case. Al Harrington is listed to comeback and with S.Jackson having more freedom on the offense, you'd see three points rain from this team. Of course, you would have to take notice of the home team too. With almost no defensive threat, Kevin Martin leads this offensive minded team in scoring. This game should be like "the first team to not score 30 in a quarter loses". I guess with the Golden State's rosters' you have three four people who can easily score 20 when facing a team who offers little to no defense night-in, night-out.
Lakers -7.5Kobe at home facing a play-off caliber team. He and Phil Jackson won't just let the visiting team make them look bad. This Lakers team is on a mission and they're taking over! I don't see the Lakers missing out on any matchups. Yao and Gasol will probably have their not so physical matchup. Lamar and Bynum should be able to take on the rest of Houston's front court with Kobe and D-Fish on Rafer and TMac. I see both team's bench being the huge difference. We all know how "The Machine" plays out there and he'd just shoot that last-second-no-need-for-a-three kinda shot at the last minute to deliver a Lakers Cover.
Goodluck everyone!
