I know it's never a good idea to presume a professional sports victory with loads of time left, but given the Red Wings are already up 5-1 not even half way through the 2nd period, shouldn't the NHL seriously look into some kind of hockey mercy rule?

No Way!

Keep pounding the puck, Red Wings!

Let me guess, you played either the Avalanche or the under.

Red Wings are a classy franchise. They won't run up the score in the third.

But, if the Avs don't want to get embarassed don't let them score!

How come pro hockey has so few capable bench players?

I live in Illinois.  Why in Hades would I follow the Minnesota Wild?  My faux pas with the bench question.  I agree, it makes me seem like a dumb blonde addicted to sniffing nail polish.  Regardless, I cashed on the Red Wings ML and puck line, so whether I know every freaking rule and fundamental of the game means little to me at the present time.  However, I'll put that task on my "to do" list real, real soon.

Since when is running up the score not classy? I'd be pretty pissed off if someone who was playing me didn't give 100% effort.

Detroit showed the world just how bad Colorado really is...
