I love the value in playing
Sabine Lisicki (+180) over Dinara Safina, Tuesday morning (American time).
Perhaps the public dollars lean towards Dinara based on Sabine's poor first round play. However, she bounced back to beat French Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova, and then Caroline Wozniacki.
She has a wicked serve, and, albeit brief, history on her side -- a three set victory over Safina in last year's Australian Open.
And last but not least, Lisicki is a real looker. In my humble, somewhat perverted opinion, it always feels better to lose money betting on a beautiful underdog than a fugly, overpriced favorite.
Cheers to Germany's Sabine Lisicki!
