(The purpose of this thread is to call out closers that have done you dirty and vent about them to get therapeutic relief to a certain degree)

I'll select Jonathan Broxton: Not only did he blow the save last night but has screwed me over Royally on many other save opportunities. This guy is trash, he reminds me of a new generation Armondo Benitez.. Ton of talent but just never seems to live up to it!

Feel free to add your thoughts and worst current closer to the thread!

Heath Bell without a doubt. Last seven days, a 40.50 era, a 6.75 era for the season. 6 blown saves. Why even mention the 2 others in #5

I love Heath Bell. He has only gotten me once while delivering several miracle wins while on the other side.

Well I think Bell is on everyone's list simply because he was a dominant closer like the Beard.
So, I think we are all really hard on Bell because of his decline from a top 5 closer to a bottom 5 closer.
Such a remarkable yet mind boggling decline.
If I had to compare Bell to another closer it would be Brian Wagner as he too went from dominant to bum status as well.

I'm surprised Carlos Marmol isn't on this list. He's the reason I'm only willing to take the Cubs 1st 5. He has only blown 2 saves this year, and I was on the Cubs for both of them (of course). 

Last year he had 10 blown saves. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get closer to that number as the season goes on.

I have to agree Todd, both closers for Toronto and Colorado are far from duds in fact I consider them both studs.

AC-Agreed Axford has been struggling and blew quite a few easy saves.

Casilla does have 24 saves but his era is pretty high so I am sure he did you dirty a few times this season..

Maybe they should make a movie simular to Space Jam for baseball, this way all the talented players who lose their skills get them back at the end..

Marmol certainly had an atrocious start to the season but it seems like he is back on track as of late.

All good mentions and worthy of a good bash this season...

Which would you say is the worst out of those eight closers you listed?

I may have to go with Parnell as he's blown more games then saved...

Plus he is a Met ;)
