Rich Brooks, Kentucky Football Coach
“I've been upset and I've upset other people being heavy underdogs. Point spreads, other than giving fans and public something to either get happy about or grouse about, it really is meaningless, particularly in a rival game.”

Colorado has won 4 straight
Phillies have lost 4 of 5 and returns from a long west coast road trip, but have had one day off
Hammels overall has pitched well on the road and colorado overall has played well on the road
Moyer overall has pitched poorly at home - phils have played very well at home last 4 weeks, but before that were horrible at home this year
Phils are scoring 2.33 runs per game last 6 games(offense has cooled off considerably)
Rockies are scoring 5.25 runs per game last 4 games(heating up)
only glaring negative i see for colorado is that they do not hit lefties that well on the road, but who knows what their current form was at the previous times they faced lefties on the road
so i am leaning rockies here as i think the phils are a little over valued right now - thoughts?

Padres have the same last 10 game record as Rangers
Chad Gaudin has pitched as well or better then Tommy Hunter last 2 starts imo
Rangers might be looking ahead to Angels series
some players out/resting for both teams
just not seeing this as a "lock" for teh Rangers, and am considering playing the Fathers on the moneyline and the +1.5 run line too
thoughts?
