sure he knows the line; but also he is right; it means squat in a rival game. rival games get coaches fired or contract extensions regardless of the spread.

gamble 4 - i agree - he def knows what the spead is - i was listening to some coach's press conferences and a few of them referenced being an underdog or favorite

 

big dog - i disagree though about the spread not meaning anything in a rivalry game - if it didn't mean anything, wouldn't that mean that the dog always covered or won outright?  i just don't know what you mean
