Notre Dame Arrests

http://www.burntorangenation.com/2016/8/20/12566418/notre-dame-football-arrests-max-redfield-ashton-white
I don't think the punishment will be 10 Our Fathers, and 20 Hail Mary's...(a little Catholic humor there, since I am also Catholic).
Do you guys think this will impact the game against Texas?
From the article...  Six Notre Dame players arrested on Friday night in two incidents

Running back Dexter Williams, wide receiver Kevin Stepherson, linebacker Tre’Von Coney, cornerback Asthon White, and safety Max Redfield were charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession and three of them — Redfield, Stepherson, and Williams — charged with possession of a handgun without a license.

A car driven by White was pulled over the speeding and an improper taillight and the officer noticed the smell of marijuana, which ultimately led to the arrests.

The other player arrested, cornerback Devin Butler, is out with a foot injury that will sideline him for the Texas game. He was charged with battery of a police officer an... [More]

It is been a historic season for me ATS,   I have a model that I have stuck with consistently and it has paid off.   You guys know the model.    Undervalued favorites, based on the merits.    Call  me square, but I have had a consistently good season.      Week 13 was a challenge when I went with high profile games and finished 0-3 ATS.(Stanford, Pitt, and Clemson).    Prima Facie, they all looked good...Pitt had sunny warm weather, when it was forecasted to be cold and possibly snowing.    I think that made a difference for Da U.   Clemson took the week off along with an inspired effort from the cocks, and Stan v. N Dame came down to the wire.    Its like we all say in our degenerate delusion...I capped it right, the teams that I backed just did not step up and TCB... It was my only losing week of the season ATS...

I will stay away from the major conference games this week...I may miss some blowouts, but I figure there is a reason these teams are in their respective Conference C-Games...that along with all the data points that the books have on these major conference hands makes it hard to... [More]

clemson did an authentic "clemson" ATS

coasted, again their arch rival, won but, did not cover.

don't even try to mention that this was rivalry game, and sc had nothing to lose.  Clemson is by far he better team, and its not even close...

if Clemson plays like this against NC, they will lose...

yes, I was on Clemson, despite my better judgment, from previous years.   they were back to their old ways (at least on D) today...

congrats to the SC backers...

Memphis is beyond frustrating...

obviously thought it would be a cakewalk...
WRs dropping passes...
Memphis will win, but probably not cover, which is disapointing...
Tulane is a bottom 10 team.
Houston's going to smoke Memphis...
the 2nd half line is Memphis -16.5., I need at least 26...I just don't see it...

Da U, down 42 to nil half...is this Golden's last game as HC?

I despise Da U.   It could not happened to a "nicer" bunch of fellows, as well as their thug former football players...

I think Golden's seat will be extremely hot after this debacle...I personally think he is a good coach, but the delusional fair weathered, its all about Da U fans won't tolerate many losses like this...

Question for the Forum - Mich St 0-5 ATS-When will they play above their potential/perception?Wk 6?

I know teams like Mich St don't play to beat the spread, but starting 0-5 ATS, with the lines adjusting each week, and they still can't cover.   Conventional wisdom would imply that the books have now adjusted so far down, that they will really feel motivated to put up a solid performance and cover for their backers.  But, its that first time.   Rutgers is a train wreck now, but they still have talent.   I know coaches don't care about lines, but with the political nature of the playoff along with the line being a perception of expectations by the public, you would think that Mich St would want to step up and destroy an inferior team.

I am still researching this Mich St v Rutgers matchup.    Does anyone have a take as to why they think Mich St will decide to play to its "perceived potential" and open a can of whoop a$$ on Rutgers this weekend?   Thanks in advance...

Pick 1 of 4

Texas A&M -7 over Arkansas - @ Cowboys Stadium, Arlington

Predicted Score

Texas A&M 42

Arkansas 17

Analysis

Teams heading in different directions.   Arkansas manhood questioned with two losses.    Ark will come out fighting and play tough for 2.5 quarters.   A&M scheme and offensive execution will enable A&M to pull away.   A&M D still suspect, but I think they play above their heads and A&M wins 3rd game in a row in the series.  Night Game at Jerry World…Dome Stadium
