Just something to think about, if you look at what UCONN did last year ..so far LOIUSVILLE is a mirror image of what UCONN did last year .
Both teams had a 6 game win steak in January then a bad february stumbling into the big east tourney never to look back .
With that and the way made Michigan State look holding them to 44 points have to ride Pitino here .

CONNECTICUT -1.5
Iowa state last post season win was 2005 and this really showed in their big 12 tournament game vs a young weak Texas team who had been less than stellar away from home this year.
Calhoun thinks his team is peaking . Jim Boeheim said he would be shocked if UCONN did not win at least two games in the tournament. I agree especially with the way they looked in the big east tournament and their game with Syracuse .
With Calhoun's history and 1 year removed from winning a championship this team won't go down easy and certainly not today to Iowa state .

The wildcats last 4 have yielded 47.5 with their shut down defense have to think at best florida gets to 60 or low 60's

if your pick on the patriots is based on a notion that REGULAR SEASON TOM can't have two bad games in a row think again .
Hey Tom thanks for telling us you SUCKED in the RAVENS game and yes you would have been the GOAT if Evans squeezed the ball .
but Tom how come you never told anyone you SUCKED two years ago vs the RAVENS when you singlehandedly took your team out of the game in the first 10 minutes with your INTs and fumbles how come you didnt say you sucked that day? you were the worst QB in the entire playoffs .
Last year you improved vs the JETS you were tied with Matt Ryan as the biggest STIFF in the playoffs . also no i SUCKED comment after the game .
this year you had a great game against an inept DENVER team
but what a minute , when it was 14-0 didn't you throw a stupid pick that lead to a Denver TD then two series later hit the DENVER linebacker between the numbers . lucky for you he dropped it
but Denver was so bad anyway and the tired denver defense was on the field all day and you threw 6 TD , the front runner that you are beating up on bad teams.
But TOM that's what you do the best beating up on very bad teams in the regular season buffalo miami jets all 2 times thats 6 cupcakes .
that's how you have got to the superbowl 5 time .....they say parity in the NFL . well this year was a joke a bunch of stinky teams.

MICHIGAN + 1
Just like the losing streak for Michigan State at the Kohl center ended last week, Wisconsin's streak of winning the last 10 in this matchup vs Michigan will end today .
Bo Ryan is one of the best but this isn't the same Wisconsin team as last year they lost 3 starters in their front court, the biggest loss being Jon Leuer who's playing well so far in the NBA . tough to replace this
the market as far as the lines go hasn't seem to have caught up with Wisconsin yet they are 1-3 SU vs Ranked teams in top 25 and this trend in my opinion will continue on a downslide don't think they should be favored here though by game time they might not be.
Michigan on the other hand is on the rise just coming off a 2 point loss on the road to an indiana team who has already beat Kentucky and ohio state at home .
Michigan . lost the indiana game by 2 and that's with Tim Hardaway jr going 0-7 -from 3P .
MICHIGAN 9-0 at home look for that streak to continue .

RICHMOND -3.5
Although the Spiders haven't been too good on the road thus far like them here in this spot catching a URI team that has some major issues .
URI RAMS have suspended their leading scorer Jamal Wilson indefinitely for violation of team rules and now wants to transfer .
RAMS next leading scorer foward Nikola Malesevic punched a wall and broke his hand after their home loss to YALE.
Rams guard TJ Buchanan leads team in steals 2nd in assists will miss his first game vs Richmond with a high ankle sprain .
This RAMS team seems to be in complete disary only 1-6 SU at home and 3-12 on the season , and a 9 point loss to Brown,
Jimmy Baron's head is on the chopping block , he has a son playing again hoisting up shots from everywhere but this son is not as good as the last one .
this URI team seems like a big mess right now and a good time to go with Richmond here for a much needed conference and road win.

This is a 3 team 8 point teaser ties lose, i don't play these all the time but have had good luck thus far 5-1 on the season

George Mason last 10 SU 8-2 Old Dominion Last 10 SU 2-8
This Old Dominion team although they play tough defense scoring ponts is very hard very poor shooting team and with the exception of Bazemore no one has a clue what to do at the offensive end .
Old Dominion in their 7 wins of which they beat no quality teams have never covered this number of 11.5 and that includes games vs Howard and LIU Brooklyn .
# 2 DAVIDISON - 3
Come on if you can go into Kansas and win by 6 surely you can win by 4 against this stinky NC Greensboro team even if your point shaving LOL. that's why i like these teasers.
i like the fact that Davidson lost at home last March to this team, im sure they will be reminded of this , in this series the road team is 8-2 ATS
Also like the fact that they lost their last road game after the Kansas win and with no big games ahead no reason to not be focused on getting an easy win here.

MICHIGAN STATE +5.5
Im just not seeing it from Wisconsin this year , a team that never loses at home just dropped one to an IOWA team that was winless on the road.
The Loss of Jon Leuer is big as i see it already making an impact in the NBA last week he had 14 points 5-7 and 8 rebounds in a win vs minny .
The bagers seem to have trouble scoring points and and that will be a problem going up against a Michigan state defense that yields 59.5 on the season .
And the Spartans seems to be playing as well as anyone right now with a 13 game winning streak.
like the 5.5 points here forget past performaces with this home and road matchups with these teams, the KOHL center dosen't seem to be such a big deal this year . and i like this Michigan state team .

UNC GREENSBORO is the bottom of the bottom only 1 D1 win so far was against Towson
PIRATES last 4 against vs NC Greensboro have won by 28, 21 , 44
one common opp for these team both played at Appalachian state East Carolina won 67-47 .....NC Greensboro lost 78-64
instate game here take the better team here at -5 for the cover

ELON - 2
Elon looks like they might be the class of this poor southern conference and have handled UNC Greensboro the last 3 times not much of a road game here only a 20 minute drive .
looking at the season so far for these teams... Elon got a win vs South Carolina who beat Clemson yesterday
UNC Greensboro 2 wins came against divison 2 UNC Pembrook and a winless Towson Team .
Elon will play a litte defense while Greensboro seems incapable giving up 50.5% FG and 45% 3 point .

OLD DOMINION PK
this will be the first weekend wagering in college basketball for me . have to go with the Monachs here as they open conference play this program has averaged 24 wins over the past 7 years and 5 CAA titles
OD lost 60-58 in NCAA tournament to last years finalist Butler have lost a few players but still have a shut down defense that will still win games for this team .
like them as a pk against a young up and down but mostly down Northeastern team this afternoon .
