After watching how stinky Fresno state's offense really is in their SMU bowl game on Xmas Eve .

This bulldog's team put up 49 on Air Force in the last game of the season beating them 49-17.

We saw how SMU dominated Fresno st on both sides of the ball .

Rice beat SMU 36-14 and SMU has some players on defense that will play at the next level .

I watched the Rice at Tulsa game i was impressed with the Owl's offensive talent , QB play and play design , they lost that game 28-24 but to me they looked like the better team that day .

I had the impression of Rice that they were a horrible defensive team , i changed my mind after watching them at Tulsa . they are capable of making stops .

Rice went on to win the next 4 games scoring 44, 49, 36, 33

Rice is one of the youngest teams in college football maybe that accounts for their slow start . winners of their last 4 games , also 3 of their loses were by 4 points or fewer .

Rice is excited to be in this bowl National TV , last bowl appearance was 2008 when they beat Western Michigan 38-14

The venue is 4 hours from the Rice campus so Owl's should be familiar and focused here .

One other thing A big match up edge that Rice has in this game is the the field goal Kicker

he's might be the best in college football

Chris Boswell 21 out of 26 fg's made

50 yd's or over 6 out of 7 fg's made long of 57 yds

air force kicker only made 4 fg's all year

Some crazy finishes and just some bad football so far hopefully your making money .

So far i see the QB play being a major factor in these game i do like the Rice QB in the game this morning

its cold in Texas but don't see any weather factors that should hinder Rice in the passing game and if they can execute the offense like they have this season i like them to put up close to 50 or more here

Not into totals so don't want to mislead people that might be playing them, i can't guarantee that Rice will put up 50 but i like their offense and expect them to score points in this game .

it was at 3 for a day now seems to be coming down, points don't seem to matter in a lot of these game you just need to pick the winner .

That may work to your disadvantage if AF is going for it on 4th and 1 or 2 instead of attempting a fg.

AF will be very disciplined (as usual), and the were dragging at the end of the year simply because they are always under sized and take some abuse.

The Owls havent seen the option that will come their way, so comparing what SMU did to Fresno and what Rice did to SMU is leading you down a dark path. A+B doesnt always = C

The Over 61 is the best play on the board tomorrow.

i don't know train we always hear how tough it is to face the option but the teams that use it like Army and now Air force don't win many games.

a lack of talent at the skill positions is the main reason these teams use it .

so Air force runs the option, last 4 games are averaging 16 points on offense maybe their not very good at it .

3 of those 4 were on the road, and like I said, AF was worn down. Theyve had well over a month to rest/heal, and they should have very fresh legs....

Rice rush defense is 91st in the nation while AF is 2nd running the ball, so you know they are gonna get their yards. Rice has wins over Kansas, Tulane, So Miss, Tex San Ant, SMu and Utep...not exactly a resume builder. They gave up at least 24 points in 8 out of 12 games and 35+ 5 times.

Not trying to trow you off your pick bro, just talkin some football.

Rice won despite horrible coaching, they had such a big advantage in the vertical passing game. yet this coach almost blew this game by running option plays and horizontal passes, against a defense that practices against this all the time really stupid .

it was a good day i had Syracuse i knew WV is a soft team and would play like they were cold Geno Smith will be a big flop in the NFL can't imagine anyone would Draft him .

, i changed my mind on TCU and bet Michigan State after watching Texas Tech Minn it,was a very frustrating game , but this one worked out for me a little luck here ,

Unlike Oregon State mo luck here i bet in live in progress at -3 when it was 3- 3 horrible coaching and QB play

and i had Duke +8.5 it tough when you feel you had the right side and they get away , .i forget most of these games , but this one ill remember.

looking at NFL now don't usually like week 17 but there are a couple teams that i think will play hard today .
