With all the post on covers and systems plays i never hear anyone mention this one, and its an important one

I don't have the stats at hand, but in my head ill tell you it's something that would have helped you in capping these games this year ,

\Ive kicked my self a few times betting on a team and not being aware of this .

don't bet on any teams that are playing on sunday that have to play on Thursday night, only bet against these teams , its Brutal to come back on 4 days .

it weighs on their minds , either they hold back or just don't play well the Sunday before the Thursday .

This weeks Thursday night game is New Orleans @ Atlanta

So if you like San fran or Tampa this would make it a stronger play .

if you like New Orleans or Atlanta today I would pass .

Agree. If anything the Saints fall flat on their face at Atlanta on Thursday after giving it their all today. But like you say, their all may not be enough against the 49ers.

Thursday night its the only game in town, every ones watching just like Monday night , nobody wants to look bad ,

i'm a player say a linebacker i want to get threw the sunday game without feeling like garbage on Thursday,so instead of coming up and sticking somebody with my shoulder head or body i make arm tackles .

It affects the way they play the game, I guarantee it's on their minds from the players to the coaches

for years we heard how tough physically it was to play on Monday night and come back the following Sunday , so how is it to come back in 4 days .

hey Train when New Orleans was 0-2 and lost to KC at home was their season on the line then or just now ?

but in my head this year if you just bet against the teams playing on Sunday that had a Thursday night game that week you would have done very well .

just went back and looked at a few

San fran the Sunday before they played on Thursday night they lost to the giants SU 26-3 the worst game they played in the Harbaugh era

The bottom feeders most lost ATS the Sunday before the Thursday

Spot on assessment of poor play on Sunday for teams having Thursdays game on their mind. Like running before the catch is made and its dropped for an incomplete pass.

washington had come off a bye , jets and pats came off a bye the week before makes a difference , you have to look at who they were playing also
