This must be my lucky day. I feel good after starting my run in the NBA off right with the Hornets cover last night and I've been confident about my next pick since seeing the line yesterday.
The Bulls have disappointed me so far. It seems like every time they have a good promising year, they can't it to the next level the next season. I thought with the continuing growth of young guys like Rose, Noah, Thomas and the return of Deng, they'd become a top contender in the East. As of right now, however, they're not even a .500 squad. Sure, they lost Ben Gordon, but he's always been a selfish locker room cancer in my eyes. He was electric in last year's playoff series against the Celtics, but you gotta remember he was playing for a new contract. Well, he was signed for a billion dollars to the Pistons and look where they are.
The Pacers, on the other hand, just suck. But they don't suck as much as the Bulls on the road. Chicago is a putrid 9-17 on the road this year as opposed to their 15-8 home record, which clearly shows their immature "get-up or lay-down" mentality.
