With the NFL season here, the new Power Rankings are out. Here is a quick look at the preseason top ten:

New Orleans Saints - New Orleans deserves to be at the top although winning consecutive Super Bowls is becoming increasingly difficult in this league. The Saints are still the team to beat.

Dallas Cowboys - The Cowboys come into the season with high expectations once again but they have yet to love up to those in the past. Is this the year Romo finally breaks out?

Indianapolis Colts - Indianapolis lost a tough one to New Orleans and very uncharacteristically with a Peyton Manning mistake. He isn’t getting younger but is still one of the best in the game.

New England Patriots - New England has a lot of questions surrounding the defense and the running game. Tom Brady looks as motivated as ever to get back to the top.

Minnesota Vikings - Minnesota can make a big move up if it can extract some revenge on the Saints Thursday night. Can Favre even come close to his spectacular season he had a year ago?

New York Jets - The Jets are the sexy pick to win the Super Bowl after last season’s improbable run. Mark Sanchez doesn’t have to win games as he will be asked not to lose them.

Baltimore Ravens - Baltimore is not getting any younger on defense but it is still a feared unit. The offense has a lot more weapons and Joe Flacco has a chance to flourish in his third season.

San Diego Chargers - San Diego could be ranked higher but it may be hard to get a gauge on the Chargers as they won’t be at full strength plus possessing a rookie running back.

Green Bay Packers - Green Bay is the sexy pick from the NFC to make it to the Super Bowl. We have to wait and see if Aaron Rodgers can win the big game.

Philadelphia Eagles - Philadelphia will be relying on a new quarterback for the first time in forever and playing in arguably the toughest division in football makes things even tougher.

i like your top 10 except i don't understand how the packers can be so low on this list, especially with the chargers being ahead of them. The pack were the 2nd best defense in terms of yards and number 1 against the rush. The chargers have a terrible o-line, a rookie rb, a weak defense, and unproven receivers.
