Everyone was writing them off after last year then they go out and make a ton of great moves. They added RJ, McDyess, rookie Blair, and shotblocker Rat Pack Ratliff.... If they stay healthy they will at least get to the West Finals (unless maybe they have to face the Lakers beforehand).... The only team i can see beating them in the West is the Laker Show.

Good Job Spurs, props.

Spurs prefer to go with experience with players at the end of their careers that have a high basketball IQ and be able to pay them less because they are older...

Class organization making moves that they were known for. I bet they felt bitch-slapped after their first round exit in the playoffs. They all thought they were dead. Here they come...just like Bob Marley's "Redemption Song". If Odom doesn't re-sign with Kobe the Lakeshow then my money is on the tried and tested Spurs.

I respect the Spurs organization greatly, but honestly, who wants to see them play another ho-hmm sleep-inducing Finals series? They've got 4 rings; time to give someone else but LeBron a shot at glory
