Atl +4 vs Cowboys???

At first glance this looks like a solid bet. Atlanta has been pretty sharp and them going into SF and destroying them like they did, then beating a pretty good chicago team...  Cowbells havent impressed me this season.

Falcons +4 looks solid.

Thoughts?

After those two big wins..this might be a tough spot for the Falcons..

That being said.. I can't lay 4points with this Cowboys team.

Opened at DAL -3....early sharps bet it to -4. Cowboys off a bye are tough to handle. Felix Jones & Roy Williams will be back. Another week for Barber to rest.

DAL -3 all day...you should have got it early boys

You named 2 good players, Witten and Barber. I think Dallas is a mess and Romo has done nothing but regress this season. Cowboys are a hard team to back right now.

Dallas is the play here. Solid running game will help them win as long as that qb they have doesn't have to do much they will win

DAL is a popular team and they do play well at home (their old home, not so much in Jerry World so far).

The Cowboys are 2-5 ATS as home favorites of 5 pts or less since 2005. Not sure how this looks coming off a bye week though.

I like ATL +4

The truth is that the falcons are a younger but better team overall than the cowboys and they are playing much better right now but the cowboys are well rested, they are in sinc, they have chemistrym, they are finally in the same channel and with the attidude and morale very high they really need this one becasue if they dont win, they are out of the playoffs, so dont espect Atlanta to win even if they are the better team right now.

Cowboys win by 7 in home and they become a contender in the NFC.

i am a big falcons fan but with that said do not really like them in this spot for some reason  i generally dont play the side in an atl game but something seems a bit fishy about this game, BOL

Dallas as "America's team" brings in a lot of bets.
If they favored Atlanta...they would get a huge influx of Dallas money.
Vegas wants action on both sides.

Atlanta got clobbered in NE and The bears lost the game themselves last week (glad I was on Atl though)
I don't trust them, the talent is there but sometimes they don't play up to it.
Dallas is all hype and Romo still looks like a rookie.
I think I am just going to do the over

I checked the statistics, Cowboys have the offense and defense advantage, I would skip this game. Just remember how the Cowboys performed against the Giants.

public will be backing Falcons huge in this game at that line...which means take the Cowboys off bye and much healthier than past few weeks.

Falcons defense is going backwards, if not for Cutler's mishaps---they lose that game quite easily.

Dallas will run it down their throats.

Dallas averages 5.9 yards per carry and Atlanta has a bad rush defense and now more defensive injuries. With Dallas off the bye and some players getting healthy, I think this is a terrible matchup for Atlanta. Unless Romo figures out a way to give it away, I think Dallas wins by 10 plus. Also, Atlanta hasn't been running the ball nearly as well this year and Dallas will make them very one-dimensional, leading to sacks and some turnovers. Of course, it's the NFL and anything that happens isn't that shocking, but I really think this a good spot and matchup for the Cowboys.

Any line is too good at first glance, you have to ask why is this line look too easy.

Do not forget that Dallas only lost at newly anointed AFC power Denver 17-10 a few weeks ago. And in that game they won time of possession, passing yards, and were only out gained in rushing by 30-40 yards.

Atlanta just gave up 290 passing yards to the Bears, and also surrendered 277 to Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Even though I am a behemoth Cowboy fan, given Dallas' inconsistent defense it is hard for me to feel good about a Cowboy cover.

With the total already gaining .5, I would advise bettors to play the over -- especially teased.

But if Tony Romo and his latest blonde supermodel pointed a six shooter to my melon, I'd have to say the Cowboys win by a touchdown.

I didn't think I'd be taking the Cowboys anytime soon, but now as unloved home favorites off a bye, I do.
