1st off the Devils will be much better than the "experts" think. getting Rolston is huge, they have a good #1 line now. Rolston between Gionta and Elias is a terrific line. The #2 line is solid with Parise,Zajac and Langenbrunner. the 3rd line is always the Madden line with Pandolfo and Zubrus or whoever they to put there (atleast Zubrus wont be centering 1 of the top 2 lines this year)
a big 4th line with Rupp , holik etc.
Rolston helps the PP immensely
Also on D they have young guys but they will be a year better. Martin, Oduya,Greene. Mottau isnt young but he will be pretty good. Savador and White are the vets. Salmela made the team hoepfully he is as good as the last Dman they got who was playing in Europe (Rafalski)
In goal Brodeur will be Brodeur and hopefully will not suck in the playoffs I really think a run at cup 4 is possible, I did not think this last year
REST OF THE LEAGUE
better than expected teams for me (bet the early before people figure this out) ...my top 2 in this category are Bruins and Oilers others that fall into this category for me are the Canes, Kings, and Senators
overrated (bet against them before people figure it out) Penguins , i d ont see how you lose 6 forwards 2 big Dmen and think that Satan and Fedotenko will replace all that. Flyers- Marty Biron really? I think he had his year last year. Lightning but i think most people in here know they arent going to be good and for some reason people always think the Flames are going to be good
the crap of the league, no value betting against them but i think they are awful
Islander, Leafs, Coyotes, Canucks
Teams besides the Devils I will watch a lot on the directv
Blackhawks, Capitals, Oilers..maybe Dallas so i can root for someone to decapitate Avery every night
Cup contenders
Habs, Devils, Red Wings and honestly out west i would put the Oilers in the mix if they get goaltending. but I dont think anyone can beat Detroit out west
