Celts -6

Mavs in 1/2 -3

Mavs Under 193

version 2

everything just as above EXCEPT make the UNDER an OVER

Bet both versions for 1 unit.

GET IT : your 2-teamer now pays like a 3-teamer minus 1 unit. (5/1 instead of 6/1)

GET with it! Make Money!!!!

GOOD LUCK BETTORS!!!

Bad math my friend....

If you lose your 2 team parlay, you lose 2 units.... if you win your 2 team parlay, you win 5 units.... giving you a payout of 2.5 to 1, which is worse than just doing a 2 team parlay which pays 2.6 to 1

.... If you can't do the math for yourself, too bad for you, but you are screwing yourself..

.... And you are from Nevada??!!  I bet the local sportsbook manager smiles everytime he sees you!  Now you know why!

I am not going to waste my time reading or commenting in this thread any further....

Read Carefully! It is not a 2-teamer any longer. When you put the "over"  "under" tail on it, it becomes a 3 teamer which usually (here) pays 6/1. I've been collecting on this type of bet sense Saturday.

These are bet with the understanding that either the "over" or the "under" is going to lose.

Can the base two teamer lose??? of course....this is betting. So my basic two-teamer is chosen to win. That's why I name specific teams instead of just calling them TEAM A and TEAM B.

If you got two better teams, then use them. The Celts and Mavs are the teams on my bet and I believe they will cover.

And this snide tone is totally unfriendly and unnecessary. I hope you don't read another thing I write. I KNOW THIS CONCEPT IS SOUND BECAUSE I'VE COLLECTED ON IT 3 TIMES.

When I wrote "I am not going to waste my time reading or commenting in this thread any further", it was because I knew I was going to get a completely non-sensical arguement from you defending your play.

I can't resist laying this out for you:

->  best case scenario is you win 1 of your 2 three-team parlays, thus, you will win 6 units and lose 1 unit, for a net gain of 5 units.

-->  worst case scenario is you lose both parlays, for a net loss of 2 units.

HENCE, you are effectively risking 2 units to win 5 units, a payout ratio of 2.5 to 1.  Simple as that.

This payout ratio is worse than if you just did a 2 team parlay with boston -6 and Mavs -3 (1st half), which would pay 2.6 to 1.

If you don't get this, then by all means continue to go ahead and rip yourself off...

Game playing....In the book "Games People Play" this is called NIGYSOB (Now I got you son of a bitch.). You want to challenge my math or understanding, that's one thing. What you need more than to prove me wrong is to find out why you are so unpleasant. What's missing in your life, that you should want to be feared one of the forum.

This is a public forum where people post ANONYMOUSLY and thoughts and ideas come and go. So it is easy to seize on a point and come on with a crushing response. If we were sitting around the "book", you wouldn't dare get in the converstion with the snideness you use anonymously.

As to your math point, you are right the way you discuss it but I don't necessarily agree with your analysis.

It's still a somewhat free country, so respond to this, if you want to. But I will not respond to anything else you post until you get some meds or find some way to settle down.
