Lakers -310 with

Lakers Under

Version two:

Now do everything you just did BUT FLIP the UNDER for OVER.

Bet them both for the same amount of money. Returns about 3/1

 all I was saying in this previsous thread (http://www.covers.com/postingforum/post01/showmessage.aspx?spt=22&sub=100738763) was that your strategy of making opposing picks in 2 different parlays is faulty and you are costing yourself money.

Your proposal is to do both of these 4 team parlays:

1) celtics -310 X Mavs -260 X Lakers -310 X Lakers UNDER -110 = risk $100 to win $352

2) celtics -310 X Mavs -260 X Lakers -310 X Lakers OVER -110 = risk $100 to win $352

Now there are 2 results that are possible:

Result #1: win 1 parlay and lose 1 parlay, and your total profit is +$252.

Result #2: lose both parlays, and your net loses are -$200.

Therefore, you are risking $200 to win $252, a payout ratio of 1.26.

My proposal is:

Just do a 3 team parlay:

celtics -310 X Mavs -260 X Lakers -310 = risk $100 to win $136

You lose $100 or you win $136, giving you a payout ratio of 1.36. (so you can bet $200 to win $272)

I can't lay it out anymore clear than that!
