Canada-Russia pick

You know it's a lot of thoughts on this one
What can I say that's a kind of a game you never know for sure who's gonna win.
Let's think who needs it more-- both teams,
who plays better ,that's even
And i tell you ,those people who moving that line don't know for sure either
So teams are equal power houses
What to say : I'm gonna bet those juicie Russians ML + 134
Hope to be 10-0 after this one,if not I'll be just happy for Canadian team
My pick Russia ML

Can-Rus big time for bookmakers

That's a funny thing,
I'm searching a lot among different bookies and what I see
average among Pinnacle, etc -150 Can ML + 105 Reg time             Rus +134ML +188 Regulation
But when I looked what are giving Russian and Belarus bookies
that's an average -120 Can ML  + 125 Reg,,,Rus -105 ML +140 Reg
I think that is a very big difference on my opinion
BOL to All on this one

Tuesday Olympic picks

Olympic total bets 7-0
What for the first game- I've told already that I like this Belarus team they've got some passion and confidence(what former coach Glenn Hanlon gave to these guys)
And that's why they're giving tough nights to some elite teams
What do we have on the on other side-Team Swiss a well organized and balanced
team with a real deal in net(Hiller)
They had 2 exibition games before tournament in Winnipeg
Belarus-Swiss 2-1(OT goal with 6 seconds left)
Belarus-Swiss 2-6
Hiller and Streit did'n play
3 of 4 Goals Belarus scored on PP ,,,
Belarus played a good game against Germany but they were outshot 40-17 by Germans,,so if Hiller won't be that bad as he was with Norway and Swiss players keep themselfs out of penalty box
then probably Belarus loose . even it could be a close game..
My pick Swiss ML

Later on  Canada-Gemany there is no a lot of thoughts on that one
The only thing I think that Canada will make around 60 shots on goal
And that depends on Greiss how many goals will Germany let in
My pick Canada-Germany total  over 7

Sunday Olympics

So far so good for me -6 straight wins!!!
Yesterday bets
Slovakia -2

Norvay +2

Belarus ML

Sunday pick:Russia -1

As far as I know last time Russia lost to Czechs(wc or Olympic games) at 2006 in Torino
in Bronze medal game 0-3
By the way that Olympic tournament Russia started with a loss to Slovaks 3-5 !!! kind of deja vu!
But next game they were extremely good in all aspects and won 5-0 vs Sweden(Sweden became an Olympic Champion that year)
What I mean by that -Russia has all the ability and talent to recover
and bounce back as they did last Olimpics ,and now they have more talented and mature team than in Torino
And you know that will be kind of "national tragedy" for Russia if they'll loose second straight...
Malkin expected to play on the first line with Ovy and Semin
Second line expected Kovy-Datsyuk-Afinogenov
So they made some changes and worked a lot on PP last practice
Nabokov expected in net for Russia
Czechs are good no doubt about it but Russia will win in Regulation(they just will try to  avoid that SO lottery)

Probably will stay away from Swe_Fin game
Canada- US- as well, just will get the pleasure watching this one with no bets

Really nice saturday matchups

My yesterday picks
Bel-Sweden Bel+3.5
Czech Rep.-Latvia Total over6

Finn-Germany  Finns -3

As for saturday I thing all three games are bettors frienly
Here's my pick
the first one Nor-Swiis Nor +2 or even if you can find somewhere +2.5
As all you know these teams are playing all the world
tournaments pretty much with a same players selection
so they know each other pretty good
they had 2 exhibition games before WC 2008
Swiss-Nor2-3 SO
Swiss-Nor 4-1
Both had played in Swiss
Reason for pick: I just don't think The Swiss are so good and Norway so bad to give a plus two or even + 2.5 at some places
Yes Swiss are good but not that good, they have a really strong goallie in Hiller + some NHL-ers as Streit or Y.Weber
And I think the main reason they gave +2 on this game because  of Swiss could make a tie with a Canadians in regulation
What about Norway team they played a lot with each other so great chemistry is there ,11 players playing in Swedish Elite league and almost all of them are leaders in their clubs(first 2 lines)
Patrik Thoresen having the best season of his career in KHL where he is among the scoring leaders(7th place 53gp 21+31=52p) He is ahead of Jagr,Morozov...
and finally every tournament Nor had at least one or two good games
WC 2008 in Canada Nor-Finn 2-3 SO
                    &nbs... [More]
