For those of you who think Soccer is unbearable to watch.

Here's something you should consider;

A 21-14 NFL GAME IS ACTUALLY 3-2 game.  A 17-10 NFL final would be like 2.5-1.5 final. Meaning; American football amplifies its scoring system.  But there is minimal scoring.  If you score a touchdown, that would be one point.  a field goal would, lets say, be .5 a point.  SO, when Ravens beat the Steelers 6-3 it would mean the game is 1.0 to 0.5 After 60 minutes.

The value of a touchdown is irrelevant, because it's only ONE scoring play.  So next time you see a 24-20 final, think about if for a minute.  Did you just see a 3.5 to 2.5 final? Or 5 touchdown and two fieldgoals?

And for those who claim that NFL has more action, this is very wrong.  Average NFL game has over 42 minutes of commercials, this is not counting MNF or SNF games.  The huddles after each play take over 35 seconds on average.  The game itself has only about 1 hour and 26 minutes of true sporting action.  Every thing else is preperation and commercials.  It is a tv sport.  Soccer, is an ongoing game with only halftime breaks.  This means that although it seems as if nothing is going on, it is a faster, and smoother game than NFL, MLB, or even NCAAB or NBA.  Remember, the NBA has under 6, under 3 timeouts in the first and second quarter. Under 9 under 6 and under 3 in the 2nd and 4th quarters.  This is in addition to 2 twenty second ... [More]

This is how much Clippers starting 3 made before taxes tonight...

I want you guys to see this for face value in these economic times.  These guys tanked the game.  We know that, but here is their paycheck for one game; Simply Disgraceful.  There is no excuse for an athlete to collect a paycheck if he doesn't give an effort in a game.

Baron Davis $147,560.17

Chris Kaman $126,829.00

Marcus Camby $111,585.36
