how can you go against Detroit and San Jose tonight?

San Jose 3way ML is too good to pass up, especially against a crap LA team.

Detroit at home against Colorado without Sakic is a good bet as well, Detroit hasn't been playing especially well the last week or so; good teams step up and win when they need to!

my picks today are

Detroit - 2 Units ML

San Jose - 3 Units ML

Detroit/San Jose ML Parlay - 1 Unit

San Jose -1.5 - 1 Unit

Anyone have a good reason NOT to bet on these guys?

my book has San Jose ML 1.85

Detroit ML at 1.59

San Jose is a gift. The fact they are on the road helps the ML otherwise it would be around Detroits.

If they have Detroit at 1.59 you should jump all over it. But i think you mean a regulation money line. That line my bookie has at 1.56 which is probably the one I will be doing.

If not for the penalty shot, perhaps the Red Wings may have won the game in regulation, O/T or the SO session. So, how then, does one account/handicap for a penalty in Colorado's favour and for it to score? The easiest games on the board are not often so easy. It is that X-factor that screws up the equation in a contest between professional athletes when one side is heavily favoured over another. This why the dogs need serious consideration on any given day. The sport comes in when trying to predict an outcome based on prevailing factors and variables. Handicapping my ass. It's dumb luck half the time and we all know it.
