The last time the Lakers hosted the Clippers, the Lakers built up a 17-point lead in the 3rd quarter but then went to sleep so soundly that the Clippers nearly pulled the shocker, losing by just three, 88-85. 

Then again, it was just 363 days ago that the Lakers embarrased the Clips by 38.

No, i usually go no more than $2,000 on any game. But I love this game! The Lakers receive their rings tonight. Their heads are going to be so big tonight that the actual game is going to be an afterthought. Baron Davis is in shape this year and on the same page as Dunleavy which is a great sign and Baron always follows up a bad year with a great year! Clips have talked all week about this game being a measuring stick as to where they are! Lakers won't be that motivated to play this game, after all it's the Clippers! Still going to take some time for the team to gel with Ron Artest in the lineup. Call me crazy, but i see the Clippers making the playoffs this year!!!

I didn't bash anyone about taking the Packers.  I did go to frogster's thread and congratulated him on hitting his play of the week, which was on Green Bay -7.  You might enjoy that.

nice bet paz. it really looked like phil went out of his way to not beat the clips by too much. whenever they got up in the teens, in came the reserves and the clips got right back to respectable. the lakeshow looked like they could just turn it on and off at will.

Yeah, Clipps were only down 1 after 3 quarters, then i check back about 6 minutes later and they're down 15! I was thinking, on no another Clipper collapse! But they finished strong and cashed our ticket! If baron davis didn't go 1-10 Clippers might of had a chance to win outright!

$2000 on the Clippers in the season opener?  Can you say 1-800-Gambler?  You will be broke before you know it betting the NBA.  You dont know what the hell you're getting nite to nite in that league.  You're certainly not getting effort, until the last 3 weeks of the season and the playoffs.
