  Last result: Detroit/Calgary Over 6 -120   120/100

Despite having 2 goals pulled out of the net due to premature whistles last night we still hopped over the total by 2 goals and cashed our over as it hit over with half a period to spare.

A team that has won 5 wagers in a row for me (4 wins and 1 under) and 2 of these current pod plays the Anaheim Ducks are back on the docket as they travel into Nashville for what is for all intent purposes a playoff game.

The Ducks sit 1 point back of 8th spot which is being held by Nashville. The two met last week with the Ducks pulling out a 4-3 ot win but they did dominate a little more than the score would suggest albeit on the pond. The Preds are tough at home but the Ducks also travel very well and they have been surging lately and I see no point in standing in there way here against a Pred team that will still be without their captain again and really looking a little worn lately, just a little, while the Ducks look rejuvenated. I expect a close hard fought tilt so this is not for the faint of heart but in this playoff type game I will be riding the playoff type team in my opinion with all the guys that have been there so many times before.  We are getting great value here with what I feel to be the better hockey team due to home ice that will not mean as much in this situation with what is on the line and a revenge angle for the Preds for last weeks loss but never mind the smoke screen.

 Anaheim Ducks ML +125    risk/reward     100/125

BOL Everyone.

just a little hesistant at first, as the preds are also fighting to hold down the last playoff spot themselves. I think nashville has a goaltending advantage with Rinne, who i think is still flying under the radar...but i do agree that in a playoff type game, you've gotta go with the defense and leadership led by niedermayer and  pronger. Also, the line of perry, ryan and getzlaf had a huge night last time out. hoping for the same tonight!

GL!
