Vikings-Packers Monday night play

This game on MNF has been hyped up since Favre signed with the Vikings. Ive been hearing about how Favre will light up the Pack & how the Packers run defense isnt that great, which it isnt, they rank 23rd, but I dont rely on that information in only the 4th week of the season. Vikings are better in almost every statistical category. But if you solely look at stats to base a prediction on the outcome of a pointspread, you may be dissapointed. You need to take everything into account. The Vikings are at home & there stadium is loud & causes Qb's to make mistakes. Rodgers has been in the league for a while & im sure he can handle the noise. The question is can the Packers defense handle AP? Thats why they play the game, we shall find out. Favre can handle pressure but he is also known to throw interceptions & I believe he's good for 2 of them on Monday night. Take the Packers in a tight game. Imo, Packers win ouright, but I will gladly take the points!

Think the over is a solid play.  GB is all banged up on D, and Rodgers will have to make some plays to stay in this game, and he isn't too shabby.  38 - 24.  Vikes.

I'm taking the Vikings in this game. Too much fire power with Farve, Peterson, an Percy Harvin.  Vikings wins at home...

im pretty sure that the obvious here is that this game should be a 3 point game. Heated Divisional games usually are close match ups... even cleveland kept it to 3 yesterday!!!! i would think that the obvious would be to take green bay, but thats just me

um yeah, you may know AP is coming like every team but nobody really can shut him down.
he will get his. they need to let Favre air it out so he can throw some "jump" balls like he does every game and the Packers need to come down with it and get some short fields and punch it in to win.

this will be a tough game and lets not forget about Ryan Grant. he is no AP by far but he still is a very good back Minny will have to respect.

I think Minny will get killed by the quick slants tonight.
wouldnt be suprised to see Driver turn a 10yard slant into a TD in front of that aggressive Minny D

I agree.  I see a blow out tonight, Peterson should have 150 yards and 2 or 3 TD's tonight and the Vikings win big, 31-17

Favre hasnt been chucking it, look at his stats all short yardage passing only reason he chucked it last week cause they were done late. Vikes want to run AP and dump pass when its 3rd and short Childress is playing it close to the vest. Div games are always tight and I expect the same from this one.

Neither the Pack nor the Vikes have played anyone, but Rodgers has been sacked the most in the NFL.  I think that is a dangerous stat going into Minn on MNF.  Favre will have the team fired up and AD will put up 100yds and 2 TDs.  Minn 27-13.

Money definitely going on Vikes, pushing the pointspread up as well the  over total.  GB and the under seems to be the play but I can not go with this logic yet. Probably play a small one on the over and play the Twinkies tomorrow.

GB is definitely the play! More times than not when the public favors a side this heavily, especially with a nationally televised game, the dog wins outright or at least covers the spread. I'm hopeful the line continues to move so I'll wait just before kickoff!

With the line opening up at 3, it made no sense to me, I thought it should have been higher & now its at 4.5 where it should be, especially with all th hype about Favre. Maybe Vegas is hungry for money & stuck out a soft line of Vikes -3 to sucker all the bettors in, I dont know, but the Packers catching 4.5 to 5.5 points in a divisional matchup on Monday night is nice. If the Vikings win, they do by a field goal. I may also have a total play an hour before game time, I will post it if I do.

NFL hasn't been good to me lately, if this doesn't go our way I might have to focus on NCAA.  One less day of betting, say it ain't so!
