BC former recruits- Where are they headed?

After the firing of Skinner, BC's trio of solid recruits de-committed to the program. PG Brady Heslip has signed on with Baylor, but what about Noreen and Papa Samba Ndao? Can't find any news out there on these two. Anyone have any rumors?

Also- Rakim Sanders has stated he will transfer out, early indications pointed to Fairfield, any official word? Evan Ravenel looks to be headed to the Buckeyes.

With all these departures, the roster sits at 9 players, of which 6 are Seniors. Recruiting needed ASAP for the Eagles.

Wow good info, I have been so busy with school I have not been able to keep up with this stuff.  I am very surprised to see Rakim Sanders transferring as he was a junior... to be senior... meaning he will have to sit out a year before he is able to play.  If he did go to Fairfield my god would he be a beast there.  I think he will be a late second round draft pick, he may absolutely dominate this conference.

Don't know much about their transfers, but my buddy Joe Trapani who was 3rd team all ACC last year will most likely have to carry the entire load.  This is going to be a crash and burn year for BC

If they cannot get any transfers in, it will be a tough year, but with all the seniors, and Reggie I think they will hold their own in the conference, may even grab a few more wins than last year. It is 2011/2012 that will be an absolute rebuilding process.

Donahue is making moves

BC snatched Matt Humphrey away from Oregeon where he underperformed last year after being pretty well recruited. Dennis Clifford has verbally committed and looks to be a raw talent with big potential. Still plenty of work to do for 2012 as we only have 7 scholarship players currently.

Rakim transferring definitely hurts, but it isn't all unexpected. I currently go to school at the Heights and follow the team religiously. Skinner wouldn't give  Rakim the playing time he probably deserved. At crucial points in many games, Rakim could be found sitting on the bench. Not to mention the fact that Reggie was taking over the team from him. Ravenel doesnt hurt too much because in his two years he didnt get much playing time despite being highly recruited. Noreen, Heslip, and Ndao could have been nice additions, but lets be honest, outside of the ESPN Top 100, its a crapshoot to determine how a high school bball player will perform in the NCAA/ACC.

BC will hold its own as another middle of the pack team in the ACC on the bubble simply because of their strong conference schedule. Games against the big players in the ACC like Duke, UNC, etc. will determine whether they make the tourney. Last year they lost a lot of shitty games as well as those big games and didn't make the tourney. Two years ago they lost alot of shitty games but beat both Duke and UNC and got into the tourney in the 7/10 game vs USC.

As a BC fan, it was sad to see Skinner go. He did so much for the program taking it from nothing to a formidable team year in and year out first in the Big East then in the ACC. However, it was clear he wasn't the right coach to take them to that next level. Not sure if Donahue is the guy just yet, but we'll have to wait and see what he can do.

I think we will see a much more exciting style of ball at The Heights. I agree that this year they will be competitive, but after this year they need to get some scholarships on board!!
