down to my last $150, NHL - SF parlay:

Started with 200, was down to 50 and back to 200 before losing a little. Can't see SF playing badly at home after getting wrecked by the Rockies:

Dayton vs Manhattan, Dayton ML

Any way Dayton screws this one up? Just looking for some parlay ideas.

Manhattan looks pretty bad this year and Dayton has played ok on the road.

betting trends on Roy Williams-coached UNC teams following a

loss...

http://www.beyondthebets.com/so-north-carolina-lost-to-unlv-how-does-roy-williams-perform-ats-after-a-loss/

Not sure about 22 points, but I think UNC starts hot tonight 1H and cruises.

UNLV 1h

Does Jacks State have anyone on their team over than 6'7"? I think Reb go up 15-20 1H and coast from there...BOL

Some 1H plays with writeups, Texas Tech, USC & Oregon

These might be good for game, as well. Betting each of these at $150/each and also $100 parlay to pay out 600

-15 Texas Tech (vs Kansas)

TT coming off 2 losses, no better opponent to beat up than KU. Total mismtach here. Score will be similar to KU vs Ok game a few weeks ago.

-4.5 USC (vs ASU) Kiffin's on the hot seat at 6-3, 3-3 in Pac12, and the ball deflating story. ASU is in a late-season downspin. Trojans lost at ASU a year ago and need a big win here, especially after losing at home against the Ducks last week. SC starts strong in this one. Say what you want about SC, they've played well in 1st halves this season.

-19 Oregon Ducks (@Cal) Ducks will be up by 28+ at halftime...noticed all of the books are no longer allowing parlays of Ducks 1H and 1H over...LOL

OT - Just when you thought Lane Kiffin couldn't get any worse

He's considering putting Marqise Lee in to play corner. Not for a whole game, of course, but just to "experminent." Really? What if Walker gets injured making a tackle, or he gets a lucky pick and some hothead lineman drills him on the return?

Why is Kiffin choosing to do this now, as opposed to the cupcake games early on in the season? Or against a weak team like Colorado? If I was Walker, I'd be talking to an agent about next year's draft. You'd have to guess Barkley regrets not going pro and playing for this 3-loss Trojans team.

ASU and Arizona - small writeup for next week

I thought ASU would play better last night, had a little on them ML. At least they did ok 1H. After this game, though, they'll get murdered at USC next week/leaning game total 'over.' This article explains the situation, but it's starting to look like the ASU of years past when they would start strong and then lose their last 3-4 games:

After USC, ASU hosts WSU and then goes to Tucson to play Arizona.

Arizona, wow. WTF happened. Terrible road team, I'd expected more than 10 points from them but at least the Bruins dropped 66 to hit the over. Wildcats play Colorado at home next week and should beat the fucking shit out of them. Lean AZ 1H,  and also game 'over' as RichRod has a penchant for RUTSing *running up the scoreboard. Arizona then goes to Utah, which will be another road loss, and then plays ASU at home in what will a high-scoring shitfest.

I'm thinking $125 on Falcons 2H, assuming they're behind at halftime.

can UNC win it all next year?

I'd like to put in a few futures bets for maybe 50 or 100 bucks. I'm seeing UNC at 10:1 and UNLV 20:1.

What bets are you putting in?

bovada now limiting parlays

I'm not a big gambler, maybe $50-200 bets..

Tried to do a parlay with Boston Bruins ML and goals over...not allowed.

Tried another parlay with Mich State and game under, same thing.

Funny thing, though, when I load this page without being logged in  > http://sports.bovada.lv/sports-betting/college-basketball-lines.jsp and try a spread and under parlay for the same game, the ticket does load.

Fade these fuckers, they are done.

Odds to win the cover of 2013 Madden

I like Gronk here, but I can see a wildcard getting a Detroit Lion like Calvin Johnson (17:1) or Matt Stafford (36:1). I see it being a 2nd or 3rd-year player who had a breakout season.

  Tim Tebow (DEN) 7.50

  Cam Newton (CAR) 9.00

  Victor Cruz (NYG) 9.00

  Rob Gronkowski (NE) 11.00

  Arian Foster (HOU) 17.00

Big heads up on betonline - CSR password access

I called betonline a few days ago to ask about a deposit...I screwed up the cc exp date on my card and it didn't go through. It was just $250, I wanted to put a small futures bet in for fifty bucks on LV.

Anyway, I call them and the guy on the other line asks for my account ID and password to verify. It blew me away -  a lot of sites still use plain text passwords. You'll know this when they send you an email back with your username and password (I checked & they had, when I signed up in October). The client's password on their side should be encrypted & NEVER visible! If a hacker got inside their site, it's game over. Money / poof / betoffline  Happened to Sony last summer and was preventable for a company that size:

http://www.fidosysop.org/897/sony-hacked-again-plain-text-password-storage-lol/

It sounds really, really dicey to have service reps in a Third-world country with all that data on file. It sucks because I like their lines and the action, plus they take CCs up to $500. I'm not a big gambler, usually $50-150 bets.

Long story short...they have your password, login ID, email and possibly more info, all in a plain text file. I work in the tech field doing risk and audit analysis and this is not acceptable in 2012 with confidential customer data - not to mention the client's money involved!... [More]

tech tip: tineye browser plugin is a must for online dating sites

You ever see those pics on a dating profile that look too good to be true? Like this one:

http://www.okcupid.com/profile/BounceBabe/photos

There's a reverse image search called tineye.com that lets you see how frequently an image is used online. If you have a single image, you can upload it directly to the site. Or install the browser plugin at: http://www.tineye.com/plugin

So from the profile above, this is result you see when you right click the image and "search on tineye"...looks like a fake profile as the image shows up a few times.

Anyone betting Boise/ASU - Las Vegas Bowl?

I got killed on ASU a few times already. Vs UCLA (spread) and WSU (took the under, over hit late).

Finally took the over vs Cal. (Which hit at the tail end of the 2nd Q!)

Anyone betting this? I like the over, even at 70 points. I have 66 as the total now. Those points could hit in Qtr 3. Osweiler (ASU QB) has an incentive for a solid game. He's not going pro but has something to show. I can see ASU putting up 35-40 points easily.

Boise has something to prove by getting a shitty bowl.
