Hey Guys,

TWO of our users 'linemaster12' and 'pasdoom' are both 1 win away from winning the $1,000 in the Streak Survivor Contest!

linemaster hit his 16th win last night with Orlando -6, and pasdoom also hit his last night in the NBA with Phoenix -3.5.

What do you think their next pick should be? You think they should team up and go with the same pick? Will you follow it?

I would go with Tampa Bay over Pittsburgh in Spring training baseball. That's where the money is. I would not follow their next pick. This is when the leaders usually choke.

@Pasdoom- I'm not trying to beat you up or anything but why would risk $1000 and possibly more on the Golden State Warriors? Thats just a horrible way to go down. Get another streak going and leave the sorry teams alone.

Golden State won already twice against Minnesota this year and was usually quite good against low teams (but they totally suck against big teams).
Minnesota was very poor since the ASG (and even before), they couldn't score much and i thought they would keep missing open shoots. But i forgot that GS wouldn't defend at all and let them take like 25 or 30 offensive rebounds :(

So i finally choose that pick as i chose any other of my streak, the home team sucked, the away team wasn't so bad, and the spread wasn't too high !

A nice write up AFTER they get the cash... not before. Those who play the streak...and those who come to this forum... know they are at 16 and follow...

Can't hate on pasdoom....you stuck with your streak the whole way, road team playing against a weak home team. It worked 16 times in a row for you and GS was up about a dozen at some point in the second quarter (for anyone who didn't follow the game) but the Warriors don't defend or rebound at all and it showed in Kevin Love's stat line. Impressive run though......can I ask if you hedged though? via online or through a bookie.

Ouch! All that patience and linemaster loses big with the Hornets +2.5 on the road (again). I was right when I said both would lose, unfortunately. There is probably money to be made with a fade.

Well... getting to 16 was a job well done... BUT... as far as questioning his/her picks... that we can do.

Out of all the games he/she had to pick from... that might have been the worst possible play... not just a bad one. Like I said...

Trade = pumped up team

Home= BIG advantage

Playing well (Miami game) = STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME.

I would just like to hear why he/she picked this game as the one to let the $1000 ride on.

Tuppy.......isn't that the point. Doing this, we either look really intelligent or really stupid. People will always question other peoples picks. i know that I have had a couple that no one else saw coming. that is what makes this so much fun. Pasdoom......I bet all the time. Every pick is a money pick.
