Bobs Championship Plays

Playoffs: 4-5 +3 Units





10 Units: Jets +7.5

Jets are a determined confident bunch, and I can not in anyway think they will be beat by more then a TD....Any which way I look at this game, I come up with The Jets.....Why?

1. The Jets Pass D is impecible #1 to be exact, i do think they proved themselves to me against Rivers and The Chargers Sunday.
2. The Colts looked very rusty....I mean did they really blowout The Ravens....A kickoff runback that was called back because of a block in the back that was not even close to the play. And a bogus leading with the head call by Ray. Combine that with an int that was also called back because of pass int that without that still would of resulted in a int....

Confidence is High right now and thats enough for the Jets for a possible outright win.

Favre is just too good and his WR's are one of the best in the league........

The Jets Defense is firing on all cylinders right now, and SD taking a week off stops their Momentum and if you have played sports you know your timing is not the same...
But this is not the reason to take the Jets...The numbers are here are some that caught my eye...The Jets have the #1 Total defense in the league with there Pass Defense being their strong point, where as SD strong point on their 10th Ranked O being their Pass game...Now Football is a sport where Defense wins Games and to have a Top Ranked Defense going against a team who Primarily throws the ball to me spells a frustrating Day for SD....The Jets do have a Rookie QB, but they have learned not to rely on him and have made them a Rushing team to be reckoned with....This game will be won on the ground and the Jets are at the advantage.....

All the talk after the Pats game was Flacco only passing for 34 yards...Does that concern me....NO....Why? First he was hurt going into the game and The Ravens established a Very good Run attack early and there was no reason to use Flacco.....I do see him throwing the Ball more against the Colts, but I still see a Big Day for Rice...As far as Manning, The Ravens are very capable of Neutralizing Him.....

Bobs Sunday WildCard

Took a few days after Texas cost me a lot of Cash, I was very frustrated by The lack of Heart by McCoy after pinching a nerve in his shoulder and not returning in the Biggest game of his career....If i were a scout i would pass on him, just by that....Imagine a regular season game in the NFL he would not last a minute if a pinched nerve keeps him out....I still believe Texas was the right play if McCoy Played the game is a outright win by Texas....
Anyway after some time off and getting my mind put back in order, I am back....

I do hate when lines move like it has in this game, but it is moving because of Boldin not playing...The way I see this is The Cards have one of the top Pass Offenses in the League without Boldin they are still in the Top 7 in the League...I mean you have Fitz and Breaston still playing and that itself is an awesome tandom....When I look at the Packers the game that comes to mind is when they played the Steelers a few weeks ago, and Rothlisberger passed for over 500 yards on a cold cold day....if Roth can do this with a very down year Steeler team, why can't a Hungry Cardinals crew do this in the warm weather of Arizona......

Bobs Championship BIG Play

Big Hit with Iowa Hitting for 100 Units....Many know me as a strict Unit Management capper and I always stress that, many have asked have I bailed on that....The answer is NO....As I stated earlier in the year when asked about if I ever go Higher then 10 Units and My answer was yes when the Bank Roll is built High enough, The game is one worth playing  that many Units....I will never wager over 10 Units on any Regular Season game and My whole logic with building Units during the year is to have a padded Bank Roll to make this kind of wager at this time of Year.....I did it last year with Florida in The Championship game.....so on to the play with Write Up.......




200 Units: Texas +4


I made my mind up with this game after looking at my computer screen for hours crunching all the numbers, and my conclusion was Texas' Run Defense will make Bama have to pass the ball, which is not their strong point at all on Offense (Ranked 83rd)...Let's face it Bama is a RUN Offense and thats their B&B.....Texas has a Run Defense that allows only 2.0 YPC Ranked #1....
Texas is a Pass team 1st Run 2nd....They rely heavily on their Pass Offense and are very successful with it Ranked #18 in the nation....Bama did beat a Very Very Good Florida team who was a Run Offense 1st and were shut down pretty convincingly by Bama....They have not seen a Pass Off... [More]

TCU was rough to watch last night...they came out with too much nervous energy and did not play like they did all season.....I blame that on the coach for lack of discipline....but I have to give credit where credit is due...Boise looked good and were well coached.....Congrats Boise, you took a good hit at my Bank Roll, but I will get it back...

Now My Last 2 Bowl plays will be My biggest Unit Plays on the Year, and since it is the Final 2 games of the Season, I am laying all my Profits and some on the year with Monster Unit totals....and I am not doing it because they are the Final games but thats how much I like these games......
