Well, the first NFL week saw my first 10* Play of the season cover as
Oakland's defense held up against a tough San Diego offense. This week, we
delve into a deeper play that should score big profits from a very reliable
theory. This week we will look at the Chicago(+3) v. Pittsburgh. When I saw
this game, I knew that the line was set in error to take advantage of the
public's perception of both teams. Chicago had a gut-wrenching last minute
loss to division foe Green Bay. Totally demoralized. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh
is coming off a big win at home vs. Tennessee in which the Steelers showed
the world that the defense is still strong and Ben can move the ball all
around the field. We saw both events happen on national television so it
really resonates freshly within our minds. This is a very strong theory that
has been crushing the books for years... Check on Monday morning, most pros
will have taken Chicago based on this. Now the media is creating a lot of
hoopla around the fact that Urlacher is out for the season. This seems to
trump the fact that the more dangerous defensive player on the other side of
the ball in Troy Polamalu is not playing either. Hunter Hillemeyer will be
jacked up in this game to show he can run the defensive position as well as
Urlacher This will wear as the weeks do, but we play for this week. The last
point is the fact that Chicago gave Green Bay a football game despite the
fact that they turned the ball over four times. Green Bay is a good football
team
and they are a very good football team in Lambeau and could only muster
a comeback victory after Chicago giftwrapped the game. Jay Cutler is
downright embarrassed, and he will take advantage of a Steeler team with
weak corners and a Poly-less Steeler secondary. Look for Cutler to show the
Chicago crowd that they are still the best game in town and look for the
Steelers to look a little under enthused as they look forward to division
play next week. My under card features a wrong line Vegas game in
Carolina+6.5 @ ATL Atlanta is an overrated team from last season that
handled an overrated Miami team last weekend. The spread on a division game
that features two of the better teams from the division should be in the 3
range and is raised because Delhomme did not look good. Expect him to find
Steve Smith and come back this week to keep the game close or win it
outright. Look for My Monday Night Primetime lockdown later this week...
Good Luck to All
