I had a DREAM ABOUT THE SAINTS LOCKER ROOM BEFORE GAME

I had this crazy dream that I was in the Saints locker room before the Super Bowl--

Sean Payton put on a video showing the devastation of the Hurricane and the damage it did to the CITY and to the SUPERDOME-

The video went on to show families living in the Superdome and houses destroyed by the Hurricane.

Then they showed the victory vs the Falcons in the first game back at the Superdome--

People have been known to accomplish GREAT feats in LIFE when pushed into a corner. I wonder if the Saints staff will MANIPULATE the SAINTS player by USING EMOTIONALLY CHARGED TACTICS such as USING footage of the HURRICANE, homeless people, people hurt, people living on the streets to PUT the players in a FIGHT OR FLIGHT syndrome?
This is likely what the GIANTS did vs the PATS, they likely had the US vs the WORLD mentality and they WON that superbowl.

My dream seemed so REAL. I remember there was no NOISE at all in the Saints locker room.

There was complete silence in the Saints locker room, no one was talking, all the players were thinking about the Hurricane and the City and the PEOPLE of the city and how they are playing much more than a FOOTBALL game-

The Defensive lineman looked like they were ready to ENTER a hostage situation where they were going to BUST in and launch an ASSAULT on would be HOSTAGE TAKERS--  Ie MANNING

(this could be WHY GREG WILLIAMS is saying he will try and HURT MANNING, because I BELIEVE THAT IS THEIR INTENTION)

Not one player was looking at another player, they were all sitting with their heads down in an EMOTIONAL state that could be described as READY TO GO TO WAR--

I remember it so vividly, the players were just sitting there and READY TO GO TO WAR for their CITY- They were taking this not as a GAME but as DEFENDING THEIR CITY FROM ANOTHER ATTACK-
When people are DEFENDING their PEOPLE or TEAM they are capable of incredible THINGS-  Men have lifted 2000 pound cars off people who are trapped underneath them- People have swam long distances and survived incredible situations.

The HURRICANE devastated their CITY, they have done well, but NOW look at this as a PERSONAL opportunity to get REDEMPTION and win it for the PEOPLE----

I cannot say the COLTS are playing for the PEOPLE of INDY, they are playing for a football team and primarily as individuals---

My dream made me THINK if this is how the SAINTS are taking this game, much like the GIANTS did vs the PATS can the RESULT be a TEAM REFUSING TO LOSE and doing anything to WIN this game?

PS I HAVE THE COLTS TO WIN IT ALL at 3 to 1 odds also, so this is pretty weird but I had this dream and cannot get that IMAGE of that SCARY SILENT LOCKER ROOM where the players LOOKED POSSESSED and IN ANOTHER STATE OF MIND where it seemed like they were READY FOR A WAR.

If the Saints are READY for a WAR and that VIVID picture of NOT ONE SINGLE word being SAID in the locker ROOM before the game is TRUE I can see them having a shot at this GAME for sure.

To lead a team into battle sometimes it is better to say NOTHING as every member of the team KNOWS WHAT IS AT STAKE and what to DO-

Thoughts?

While I certainly agree that humans are capable of mustering great strenght physically as well as mentally while "pushed into a corner" we must remember athletics is nothing like war. For any "sports writer" to compare the two is to insult many members of our armed forces. Sammy Meatballs- Please refrain from using this as it is obvious you have never been to war before.

Exactly my point...its a BAD metaphor!  And I'm sorry if it looks like I bash everyone.  I'll try and censor myself better.
