Why is the nation's 10th ranked team 3 pt Underdogs going into Wisconsin? I smell something fishy here. Iowa's qb Stanzi is terrible having thrown 8 ints for the year, 3 of which were pick 6. Is there something I don't see here...
Whisky is the play for me.

WIS is great at home but IOWA went into PSU and won when they were 10 point dogs.  Personally stop trying to read between the lines.  If you think WIS wins by 3 then play them if you are trying to say this is a sucker bet and you are going to bet with Vegas just stay away from the game when there are what 50 others to chose from.  BOL!

Thats exactly why I am playing Wis. Iowa went in PSU when PSU was undeafted and one of the toughest place to play in the nation as 10 pt dogs. Now they go into Wis as 3 pt underdogs vs a team that is not even ranked in the top 25. This looks like one of the best games on the board in my opinion.

I think if Wisconsin was favored by 14 points it would be shady, but they are the home team and 3 points is pretty standard for the home team.  Iowa lost a receiver too.  This line feels about right

The lines feels about right? Should any top ten team go on the road and be an underdog, seriously? When a number 10 team loses to a non ranked opponent, shouldn't that be considered an upset?

Wisc has had the tougher schedule, AVG YPP teames beating by Wisc, Fresno 13, Mich St 14, MN 13 and lost to Ohio St 13.  They are 3-1 ATS vs 13-14 AVG YPP teams.  Iowa on the other hand has beat Arz 19, Penn St 15, and recently Mich 11.  Wisc does play well at home, the line is home field advantage only.  If this were on neutral field it would be Pk.  These two teams are even on YPP at 14 each, even on stability at 17 each and Iowa has a 3 point edge in power overall, with the -3 home field its even.  Keep in mind, this is the first of two bb away games for Iowa, they travel to Mich St next week.  Iowa has good defense and linebackers are killer, they play very well in close games. 

This is the first of two home games for the badgers, playing purdue next week.  I think the play here is Wisc -2.5 at home.  Line started with Iowa -1...gl

Good post.  I agree with you.  The word "trap" is way overused on this board.  Just play the team that is acutally going to win the game and is better in that situation.

a 6-0 team is going on the road against a 5-1 team.  both have 2 wins against quality opponents.  one team has a relatively meaningless "#11" ranking, the other just got their asses kicked by ohio state.  wisconsin is known for being good at home.  line opened at -1 and is now -2.5 or -3, despite more bets on iowa...... hmmmmmm.....   no play or small play on wisconsin for me

Badgers Take this one......they shoulda won last week if not for the inexperience of their qb....Iowa quite frankly hasnt impressed me all that much outside of a win at penn st has struggled against lesser opponents....Im all over the Baaaaaaadgers in this one

The only thing I am certain about with this game is that it will not be a blow out.  Whoever wins will win between 3-7 in my opinion.  Therefore, it really is a coin flip and there are better games out there to bet on.  But if I bet this game it will be part of a 4 team 12 point teaser or 5 team 15 point teaser and I will tease up Iowa.  They may win out right but I am certain if the lose it will not be by much.  BOL!

I know my Hawks and I'm more leery about this game than Michigan last week. And I've had em pegged for the whole year, for the most part. Including Penn St.

* the lost WR is a nobody, by the way


Chances are this one is decide late in the 4th, but Wisconsin will have a hard tome covering. I give the Hawks about a 30-40% chance at winning.

If their D can some how produce another 3 turnovers, watch out.

i agree with marn stay away from who wins....but does anyonw know about the defences.  Is the over a good bet.  Help please.  I kinda like the over.  Wisconsin will win because of turnovers by in humble opionion.  but someone help me out on the over

Badgers have not played anyone since before last week. Then proceeded to get run out of the building by an OSU team that just lost to Purdue.

Florida and Bama are having big probs at home. By your sophmoronic rationale, they are overrated.
