times the point spread doesn't even come into play."  - Andrew Iskoe, a well respected and successful handicapper.

Hello all, I am a newcomer to this website, but not new to sports betting.  Firstly, if you haven't read the book "You Can Bet on It!" by Larry Grossman, pick it up because it's a fabulous read with lots of pertinent information to hone your sports betting skills.  Also, if your not in with the Gold Sheet, you really shouldn't bet football at all.

My motto is don't out think the room, but I also like Colin Cowherd's motto: Say it out loud!  The Titans will win this football game tonight.  See, doesn't that sound silly?  It's by no means out of the realm of possibility, because nothing is, but too much is on the Steeler's side here.
A few side notes for tonight's match up
-They return 22 of 24 starters from a Super Bowl winning team.
-Superbowl Champs are 9-0 to open the season in the last 9 years.
-Tennessee lost the most important person on defense: Jim Schwartz.  If you don't think that matters, you must be crazy.
-Tennessee WILL NOT go 13-3 this year.
-Last season, Pittsburgh had the toughest strength of schedule, a shaky offensive line that has allowed Big Ben to be sacked more than any other quarterback the last 3 years, zero special teams contributions, 24th in the league on the ground, and STILL won the Super Bowl!

They don't have players you want on your fantasy team, but they are clearly the most physical team, have the best players, are the best run franchise with the most loyal fans.  They're at home.  They're fired up, ready to go.  Tennessee's QB is a game manager with few quality receivers to pass to, so they will rely on the run game, obviously.  Pittsburgh knows this better then all of us handicappers.  Load the box, force them to play from behind, which the Titans don't do very well, and dominate the game early and often. Don't out think the room here guys.  Pittsburgh has a legit shot at repeating, and the Titans will fall off significantly this season.  It all starts tonight.  Good luck to everyone!

Take the Steelers and the points
