MLB Surprise Player So Far

Curious on who you guys think is your surprise player of the season. Last season there was Lee and Hamilton. I know it's not the halfway mark, but who do you think is the biggest surprise thus far?
 
Aaron Hill for me. Really helping this team lead the East. I would say Grienke but I knew he was great, not this great, but great none-the-less.

The starting rotation for the TEX Rangers!!!  What an improvement in terms of team era and innings per start.

A little bit of that Nolan Ryan toughness (see avatar) is perhaps rubbing off.  I saw video clip on Fox Sports showing a 60+ year old Nolan throwing an 83 mph fast ball during this season's spring training.  Wow!!

 

I couldn't do that back when I was on steriods.

I'd say Aaron Hill, but he was emerging a year before his injury so it's not as big a surprise as the Blue Jays' ADAM LIND! 35 RBI, .329 BA... He's almost matched his HR and RBI production from all of last season!

you're the moron here. are any of them black africans besides v.wells. which i said he was an exception because hes light skinned. coincidently the jays got bautista when gaston became manager idiot. rios and wells are exceptions because they were from the farm system since they were kids. so ACCEPT the fact and stop thinking that racism has gone all of a sudden. its the general public like you who are stubborn and dont want to believe whats true.

I agree adam jones, and markakis from the o's have been great.  1, 2, & 3 in their lineup has been pretty damn good

I also like how the racist organization that is Toronto gave Vernon Wells that $115+ million contract.  Got rid of Reed Johnson for an outfielder who was well past his playing days in Shannon Stewert.  And hired a black manager in Cito Gaston.

 

All a smokescreen to cover up the racism right?

Kevin Millwood, and Hamilton wasn't that big of a surprise to me last year.(if he doesn't get hurt,which he seems to do alot, future Hall-of-Famer)
