Agree 100% as well. Whether it is FBall or BBall most fan bases(Students-Drunks) do it. Not an excuse for a shitty chant because it is pretty stupid and I cringed when I heard it.

"We Own Texas" does have a better ring to it to me... 

We will see UT again in KC for sure...This is a different team this year and I predict they will compete well in the Tourney. But, I am also a lifelong KSU Homer...but @ least I'll admit it.

I do agree that "overrated" is a stupid chant...Who gives a crap though...like someone typed above, harmless fun.  These are 20 yr olds, kids for the most part.  I think the players understand that and didn't take it as a knock to them playing a weak opponent.  The players understood the fans expectations when the students didn't run onto the court.  That told the players that the fans have faith and believed that they could beat the number 1 team in the nation.   

When the students chanted "We own Texas" I got chills...Awesome, just awesome. 

Bring it on Texas, we will hit you in the mouth again...I think Pittman and the boys need to take those little smart ass smurks and start playing the game.  They play more games with that kinda attitude and they will get chewed up and spit out.  In our case we hawked up a fur ball and spat Texas on the floor.  Texas' smart ass attitude finally caught up to them.  They remind me of KU by the way. 

It was 2 good teams that played another great game in college B-Ball and K.St fans were fired up before the game and that chant was a way of letting off steam,but I think it is dumb to call Texas overrated just because the polls put them #1.

Have a feeling its going to be a fun March of basketball and either of these teams could be final 4 teams,we will see.
